4.4 Rave is an innovative app that brings a unique twist to social media and entertainment by allowing users to watch videos together in real-time. Here are some of its standout features:
My experience with Rave has been nothing short of delightful. One of my favorite scenarios was during a recent weekend when my friends and I wanted to catch up on a new series that had just dropped on Netflix. Instead of the usual back-and-forth texting about what episode we were on, we decided to use Rave. We created a private room, invited each other, and started watching together. The ability to chat while watching made it feel like we were all in the same room, sharing laughs and gasps at the plot twists.
Another scenario was during a long-distance friendship catch-up. My friend and I had been meaning to watch a documentary together, but our schedules never aligned. With Rave, we could finally sync our viewing times, and it felt like we were having a mini movie night, complete with popcorn and our favorite snacks, even though we were miles apart.
The user interface of Rave is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. Creating a room took just a few taps, and I appreciated how quickly I could invite friends via social media or direct links. The video playback was smooth, with minimal lag, which is crucial for a synchronized viewing experience. I also loved the chat feature; it was easy to use and added a fun layer to our movie nights. Overall, Rave has a vibrant and engaging feel, making it a joy to use.
Rave is free to download and use, which is a significant plus for anyone looking to enjoy shared viewing experiences without breaking the bank. While there are some in-app purchases available, the core features that make Rave enjoyable are accessible without any cost. This makes it an attractive option for students and budget-conscious users alike.
The developers of Rave seem committed to improving the app continuously. I’ve noticed regular updates that enhance functionality and fix bugs, which is reassuring. Additionally, the support team is responsive; I had a minor issue with syncing once, and they addressed it promptly. The FAQ section on their website is also quite helpful, providing answers to common questions and troubleshooting tips.
As an American user, security and privacy are always top of mind when using any app, and Rave does a commendable job in this area. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was only required to provide minimal personal information, which is a relief compared to many other apps that ask for extensive data.
Rave does not bombard users with ads, which is a significant plus for maintaining a smooth viewing experience. However, like many social apps, it does track user behavior to improve recommendations and features. I appreciate that Rave is transparent about this, allowing users to make informed decisions about their data. Overall, I feel secure using Rave, knowing that my privacy is respected while enjoying shared entertainment experiences.

The app used to work perfectly for me, but for the past couple months I haven't been able to log into any of the platforms available. If I log into Netflix it keeps telling me the show I'm trying to watch is for subscribers only, even though I just signed in. Trying to log into Max via Hulu just has me entering my email and password over and over. Somehow YouTube works fine, but it's the others just haven't worked for months.

sometimes it works fine, but that's rare. it's incredibly buggy and will kick me out randomly, or sometimes when i open the app it logs me out. and during the actual videos, some will say they're unavailable or they won't play yet they're completely fine outside of the app. it's extremely frustrating to constantly have to restart the app just to get one video to work. i'm only using this because it's the only thing my friend and i can use; otherwise i would've uninstalled this way sooner.

This app is absolutely phenomenal. Maybe I am lucky or something? Absolutely no errors, apart from not being able to hear audio once or twice, even then I just had to leave and rejoin. Me and my girlfriend use this all the time! Amazing quality, the only ads that pop up or get in the way don't even happen during the movie. You are practically getting the app ad free apart from the few banners. It is so easy to use, the daily 1000 kin/Ken make it so fair to use. I reccomend this app 100%.

Overall works but still pretty disappointed. I wanted to watch something using a web link. The video pops up and it loads. I can see the duration of the video. But everytime I press play, it immediately pauses. I can see the frames if I continuously press play and the audio cutting in and out so I know the video link works, it's rave that doesn't. Just keeps on pausing. I know it says not every web link will work but seems like it always happens to me.

Great concept, but its buggy and not very user friendly. It did okay on my device, but the hide mature content setting did not work on my friend's computer. Mine was set to that automatically, but hers was not, so when she logged in, there were a bunch of really graphic porn suggestions on her main page. The app then proceeded to crash her computer. She's having to scan for viruses now. I had no idea this was an app that pushes porn onto people's screens without them searching for it.
