4.5 As someone who enjoys casual gaming during my commute, "Reigns" has become my go-to app. I often find myself swiping through decisions while waiting for the train or during my lunch break. The beauty of this game lies in its ability to provide a complete experience in short bursts. Just the other day, I was faced with a choice about whether to build a new castle or invest in the kingdom's health. I made my decision, and within minutes, I was engrossed in the consequences of my choice, which led to a hilarious encounter with a rogue knight.
The user interface of "Reigns" is refreshingly simple, with a clean design that allows for easy navigation. The swipe mechanic is intuitive, making it accessible for players of all ages. I appreciate how the game flows seamlessly; each decision leads to a new card that presents another dilemma, keeping the pace brisk and engaging. Performance-wise, I’ve experienced no lag or crashes, which is crucial for a game that relies on quick decision-making. Overall, my experience has been delightful, as the combination of strategy, humor, and storytelling keeps me coming back for more.
"Reigns" is reasonably priced, offering a one-time purchase that unlocks the full game without any hidden fees or in-app purchases. This straightforward pricing model is refreshing in a world filled with freemium games that often require additional payments to enjoy the full experience. For the value it provides, I believe it’s worth every penny.
The developers of "Reigns" are proactive in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular updates that introduce new content and fix any bugs, which shows their commitment to improving the user experience. Additionally, their support team is responsive; I had a minor question about gameplay, and they got back to me within a day, which is impressive. This level of support enhances my overall satisfaction with the app.
When it comes to security and privacy, "Reigns" takes a responsible approach. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards. Upon registration, the app requires minimal personal data, which is a significant plus for users concerned about privacy. I appreciate that I can enjoy the game without having to share excessive information.
Moreover, "Reigns" does not bombard users with ads or engage in intrusive tracking behavior. This is particularly important for American users who are increasingly wary of how their data is used. The absence of ads allows for an uninterrupted gaming experience, which I find refreshing. Overall, I feel secure using "Reigns," knowing that my personal information is protected and that I can enjoy the game without distractions.

I never wrote reviews, but this game has it all! Strategy, comedy, dark themes, mysteries, and more! Honestly the best card swipe adventure I've ever played! Only con is it is quite confusing to get the "best" ending, but I probably didn't look deep enough. Still super fun to complete even after reading a how-to guide! If you have a spare $3, this is the best thing you could spend it on!

I really can't recommend this game. The concept is actually pretty good and it really could be a good game... But whoever wrote the dialog makes me think they were the programmer themselves or simply had a humor that makes no sense to me. Often times the story is convoluted and the words chosen feel like they had a thesaurus next to them. This is one game I hope another studio picks up and expands upon the ideas presented here. There is a good game waiting to be developed with the concepts laid out here....

This game is fun and addicting, and I would rate it 5 if I didnt have 1 constant frustration with this game. When you are deciding a choice, it vaguely shows you what it will affect, and I really think that it should show whether it would be positive or negative. You CAN get an item that helps with this, but its still overly vague. Sometimes you may have a meter (money, army, etc) that is going up every second, but youre screwed if you let it max out, and its hard not to while deciding on smthng

A good concept to launch I suppose, but this is a game for a niche audience. The cards are odd and repetitive, the story is random and it's hard to feel empowered to win or lose the way it is set up. Might as well roll dice for 5-40 years on the throne. The feeling is being powerless in an Alice's Wonderland sort of World. You can only decide yes or no, and nearly all decisions have consequences. If you plan it right, you can choose if the army overthrows you first or you run out of money.

An interesting and affective redesign of "choose your own adventure" story telling as game that is easy to pick and play any time. The short form narrative helps keep sessions and choices short and to the point. I had wanted to try this game for a while, so it was one of my first downloads with the Google Play Pass. I can say that it is worth the premium price point and a no brainer if you have the Play Pass.
