4.6 ScheduleFlex by Shiftboard is a powerful scheduling tool designed to streamline workforce management. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, it caters to businesses of all sizes. Here are some of the core features that make ScheduleFlex stand out:
As a manager in a busy retail environment, I rely heavily on ScheduleFlex to manage my team’s schedules. Each week, I face the challenge of balancing employee availability with business needs. For example, during the holiday season, I used ScheduleFlex to create a flexible schedule that accommodated my employees' requests for time off while ensuring we had enough staff to handle the increased customer traffic. The app allowed me to visualize the entire week at a glance, making it easy to spot gaps and adjust shifts accordingly.
The user interface of ScheduleFlex is one of its strongest points. Upon logging in, I was greeted with a clean dashboard that displayed my team’s schedules, upcoming shifts, and any pending requests. The drag-and-drop feature for scheduling is incredibly intuitive; I found myself quickly adjusting shifts without any learning curve. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly, with minimal lag even during peak usage times. I particularly appreciate the mobile app, which mirrors the desktop experience perfectly. It’s easy to navigate, and I can manage my team’s schedules from anywhere, which is a game-changer for my busy lifestyle.
ScheduleFlex offers a variety of pricing plans tailored to different business sizes and needs. While I initially hesitated at the cost, I quickly realized that the efficiency gains and time savings made it a worthwhile investment. The pricing is competitive compared to other scheduling tools, and the value it provides in terms of reducing scheduling conflicts and improving communication is undeniable. They also offer a free trial, which allowed me to explore the features before committing.
Shiftboard is proactive in providing updates and enhancements to ScheduleFlex. I’ve noticed regular updates that introduce new features and improve existing ones, which shows their commitment to user satisfaction. Additionally, their customer support is responsive and helpful. Whenever I had questions or needed assistance, I reached out via their support chat, and I received prompt and informative responses. This level of support has made my experience with the app even more positive.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that handles employee data. ScheduleFlex is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, but I appreciated that they only asked for what was necessary. There are no intrusive ads, and I didn’t notice any tracking behavior that would compromise my privacy. The app employs industry-standard security measures to protect user data, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my information is secure.

The app itself is not so bad. It's a bit tricky to use but doable. Though I hate how you have a hard time figuring out what day you are really looking at. I feel like the bad part is how your organization chooses to utilize it. My is doing very poorly with scheduling and correct staffing numbers. We can't easily get on at work due to their old IT systems.

Works but not well. Goes down alot and will keep you clocked in after you have clocked out and vice-versa. The trade board doesn't tell you anything about available shifts to trade besides the time. It should always have the location of client business. You only get to find out where after accepting the job, which could also be fixed by just putting it on the schedule along with the other available shifts, whats the damn point of having a separate place just for shifts up for trade?

It works fine for me, but I don't understand why the notifications don't have any details. Sometimes, I have a long list of notifications, and it is impossible to figure out which is the open shift as they only show the icon and the test "Shiftboard." I wish the notification showed the Subject!

I liked this app, but the latest Samsung galaxy update has the "buttons" below the tool bar at the bottom, so if I want to add a day off, the "save" button is below the toolbar, or the "apply" button when filtering schedules is also below the toolbar and this impossible to press. update 10-13-25, this still hasn't been addressed and makes this app next to useless for myself and other android users.

The updated version is not an improvement, clocking in and looking at shifts is a hassle. Rather use website over app because it's a terrible program Update 2021 my company is still using shift board but log in location requests are not only annoying but not needed and unnecessary for my job. Used to be able to ignore and deny these permissions and still log in. However since last update app will not allow clock in when you deny the location.
