4.0 As a passionate musician, I often find myself surrounded by piles of sheet music—some handwritten, some printed. One day, while preparing for an upcoming concert, I realized I had a collection of old scores that I wanted to digitize. That's when I turned to the "Sheet Music Scanner & Reader" app. I set up my phone over the first page, pressed the scan button, and watched as the app effortlessly converted the notes into a digital format. This was not just a one-time use; I found myself using the app for various scenarios, from practicing new pieces to collaborating with fellow musicians. Whether I was scanning a new arrangement or reviewing a classic piece, the app became an essential tool in my musical journey.
The user interface of "Sheet Music Scanner & Reader" is sleek and intuitive. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made it easy to navigate through the scanning and playback features. The workflow is straightforward: scan, edit, play, and export. I particularly appreciated how quickly the app processed the scans; within seconds, I could see the digital version of my sheet music. The playback feature was a game-changer, allowing me to hear the music as I practiced. Overall, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The app performed smoothly without any glitches, and I felt a sense of satisfaction knowing I could easily manage my music library.
The "Sheet Music Scanner & Reader" app offers a free version with basic features, which is great for casual users. However, for those who want to unlock the full potential of the app, there is a premium subscription available. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the time and effort it saves musicians like me. I opted for the premium version, and it has been worth every penny, given the extensive features and functionalities it provides.
One of the aspects I appreciate about the "Sheet Music Scanner & Reader" app is the regular updates. The developers are committed to improving the app based on user feedback, which is evident in the new features rolled out in recent months. Additionally, customer support is responsive and helpful. I had a minor issue with the playback feature, and after reaching out, I received a prompt and informative response that resolved my problem quickly. This level of support gives me confidence in the app's reliability.
As an American user, I take security and privacy seriously, especially when using apps that require personal data. The "Sheet Music Scanner & Reader" app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was only asked for minimal personal information, which I appreciated. There are no intrusive ads, and I did not notice any tracking behavior that would compromise my privacy. The app's developers seem to prioritize user security, ensuring that my data remains safe while I enjoy the features of this fantastic tool. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my information is handled responsibly.

I'd give this app a 5, with a couple of refinements. The scanning needs to be more consistent, as it frequently misses notes even with high quality scans. This could be greatly mitigated by adding a lite editing feature to manually fill in notes that the app fails to registet. It doesn't need to be a full notation editer, but to be able to simply color in the occasional greyed out/missing notes would be a huge improvement and I'd easily give it 5 stars. Still a useful app, despite its flaws.

I am an international cantor and opera singer. This app has been super helpful for me in quickly reviewing sheet music and learning new songs. What would've made it even more perfect is if it supported the following: • Read Grace notes • Allow you to choose which voices to play as opposed to all or one • Allow you to choose a different instrument for each voice. I really hope they make these changes as I love this app.

For an app you have to pay money for, you should expect it to work. It doesn't separate different voice parts, which is fine my me. The real issues it is incredibly hard to get it to read the music accurately. On some sheet music, it cant read sharps and dlats and it counts them as notes... I bought it so I could save time on plucking notes, but it would save more time plucking them out on a piano myself.

I have yet to scan a piece of music that the app can play correctly. It skips notes, plays back wrong notes, and thus is only minimally useful because of the high error rate. If this were a free app, I would probably not even bother rating it, but since there is a fee, the developers and, more importantly, potential buyers should know how unreliable the app is.

I'm pretty disappointed. To pay nearly $5 for a broken app. In one page, the scanner will guarantee to miss 2-3 notes (even though the notes are really black and the picture is clear as day). If you take a quick picture, the scanner will miss 6-8 notes. This is very frustrating because I want to practice songs using the app, but it'll always miss something, thus wasted time trying to take the perfect picture. Please improve the app and I'll change my review.
