4.6 As someone who cherishes memories and loves to share them, I find myself using the Shutterfly app in various scenarios. One of my favorite uses is during the holiday season. Each year, I create personalized holiday cards to send to family and friends. The app's extensive selection of templates allows me to choose designs that reflect my family's personality, making each card unique.
Another scenario is during birthdays and special occasions. Recently, I used Shutterfly to create a custom photo book for my best friend's wedding anniversary. I gathered photos from their wedding day and other memorable moments, and the app made it easy to arrange them beautifully. The joy on their faces when they received the book was priceless!
The user experience on the Shutterfly app is quite impressive. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean and intuitive interface that made navigation a breeze. The layout is straightforward, with clear categories for different products, which helped me find what I was looking for quickly.
Creating a project is simple; I just select the product I want, choose a template, and start uploading my photos. The drag-and-drop feature is particularly handy, allowing me to arrange images exactly how I want them. I also appreciated the real-time preview option, which let me see how my creations would look before placing an order.
Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any lag, even when uploading high-resolution images. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel confident recommending Shutterfly to anyone looking to create personalized gifts and keepsakes.
Shutterfly offers a variety of pricing options depending on the products you choose. While some items can be a bit pricey, the frequent promotions and discounts help make them more affordable. For example, I recently took advantage of a 50% off sale on photo books, which made my purchase much more budget-friendly. Overall, I find the pricing reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products.
Shutterfly regularly updates its app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I’ve noticed improvements in the design tools and additional product options over time. The customer support is also commendable; I had a question about my order, and their response was prompt and helpful. They offer various support channels, including live chat and email, making it easy to get assistance when needed.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using apps like Shutterfly. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards. During registration, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, which is standard for most apps.
Shutterfly has a clear privacy policy that outlines how they handle user data, which I found reassuring. They do not bombard users with ads, and I did not notice any intrusive tracking behavior while using the app. Overall, I feel secure using Shutterfly, knowing that my personal information is protected and that I can enjoy creating without worrying about my privacy.

10/10, easy to use, good products! I love using this app, it makes creating cards, gifts, and wall art so easy. I love having so many options! plus, 4x6 prints are free on the app, you just pay shipping, and magnets are always very cheap! I've ordered many mugs, travel and ceramic, as well as canvas prints, cards, bags, and more, and everything has been great!

after WASTING about an hour and ½, I was finally ready to check out! After editing bugs on the photobook on every...single... page (not enough characters to relay all the problems) I chose to use my credit card @ checkout. Well, after I filled out my shipping address and clicked the check mark at the top right of the page, I was stuck in a dreaded loop, and did not move forward with the purchase...because I couldn't. only other option was an x out button top left, which undid my shipping addy.

I have loved this app for years, made many many photobooks from my phone. The latest update totally sabotaged my user experience!! 1) The method of getting photos from Google photos is much worse. You used to be able to import a whole album, but now you need to select each photo individually. This could be Google's fault. 2) The photos aren't sorted chronologically!!! So stupid. 3) You can't even see the date image taken in the photobook editor. This used to be an essential feature for me.

I downloaded this app to create a collage. Selecting the photos from my Google photos was challenging then it wouldn't let me add some of my photos to the collage, it was just a blank spot. every one of the photos that I've ever tried to print has a blur warning triangle on it even when I changed to a smaller size and I download at the highest resolution possible. I'm done wasting my time with this garbage app.

The recent update is very disappointing. It's hard to use. You can't sort photos once added to the book - I prefer to use these like a journal and to do them chronologically. It constantly kicks me out. The page formatting is difficult - swapping photos tends to remove them completely. I am disappointed they got rid of the 6x6 books. Overall, I think an upgrade needs to be done on the mobile app. I can no longer use the app.
