4.7 Spectrum TV is a robust streaming service that offers a plethora of features designed to enhance your viewing experience. Here are some of the core highlights that make this app stand out:
As a busy professional and a parent, I often find myself juggling work and family time. Spectrum TV has become an essential part of my daily routine. For instance, during my lunch breaks, I love to catch up on my favorite shows while enjoying a quick meal. The app allows me to stream live TV or dive into on-demand content without missing a beat. Additionally, on weekends, my family and I often gather in the living room for movie nights. With the Cloud DVR feature, I can record shows throughout the week and have a selection ready for our family viewing. It’s a fantastic way to unwind together after a hectic week.
The user interface of the Spectrum TV app is one of its strongest points. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean and organized layout that makes it easy to navigate. The main menu is straightforward, allowing me to access live TV, on-demand content, and my recorded shows with just a few taps. The search function is efficient, enabling me to find specific titles quickly. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly, with minimal buffering, even during peak hours. I’ve had a few instances where the app crashed, but these were rare and usually resolved with a quick restart. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I appreciate how the app enhances my viewing habits.
Spectrum TV offers a variety of pricing plans that cater to different needs. The basic package starts at a competitive rate, providing access to a wide range of channels and on-demand content. For those who want more premium channels or additional features like Cloud DVR, there are higher-tier plans available. I find the pricing reasonable, especially considering the quality of content and the convenience the app provides. It’s a solid investment for anyone looking to streamline their entertainment options.
The Spectrum TV app receives regular updates, which often include new features and improvements based on user feedback. I appreciate that the developers are committed to enhancing the user experience. Whenever I encounter an issue, the customer support team is responsive and helpful. They offer various channels for support, including live chat and phone assistance, making it easy to get help when needed. Overall, I feel supported as a user, which adds to my overall satisfaction with the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Spectrum TV does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide some personal information, including my email and account details, but I felt comfortable knowing that Spectrum has a solid privacy policy in place.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that the app does display some advertisements, but they are not overly intrusive. Spectrum TV does collect data to personalize the viewing experience, but I appreciate that they are transparent about their data usage policies. Overall, I feel that my privacy is respected while using the app, which is a significant factor in my continued use of Spectrum TV.

Got the update and now it takes about 5 to 6 minutes just to load the home screen, then another 3 to 4 minutes just to load a channel. Whatever update you guys did made things horrible. I was watching a movie and my battery died. I couldn't get back in to continue the movie for about 9 minutes. On multiple devices it's been the same experience. Between this and the continued diminishing quality of internet and equipment while raising prices, I'm about ready to look for service Anywhere else.

I'm very disappointed with all three services. My incoming calls always drop if I stay on the phone any length of time. I get emails later. My internet services go in and out. The apps shut down and I have a difficult time reinstalling them. The services that were sold as being better than what I had, are a lot worse.

May 4,2026, days before my birthday, Spectrum TV is now on Android/Google TVs!! Finally, I may stop searching for a new streaming service that'll have the channels I've been looking for, but still they do have a high price for those channels. Roku have been glitching lately and I don't want to use it as much anymore. oldreview: Needs to be on my LG TV when my cable box goes out, don't want to have to get an Roku or Samsung to watch on my TV. I do have Chromecast but that sucks too.

Easy to use and looks good. It's easy to see the programming, search for shows, view shows on my device, and view on the cable box. It's nice to have when you're traveling, though you won't be able to access your local channels. Also nice to switch channels if your husband fell asleep on top of the remote, lol

We wanted to love streaming to our smart TV using Spectrum. But we hate it. Setting up recordings is easy on my phone app. But watching them on Roku TV is awful. When you try to ff or rewind, you can't see what you're skipping. It's nearly impossible to navigate to different live channels without going back to the home screen, and you can't pause, rewind or ff live TV. Switching from one screen to the next is very slow. All this might be better if I could use my phone app to control the TV app.
