3.3 TeamViewer Host is a powerful remote access application that allows users to connect to devices from anywhere in the world. Here are some of its standout features:
My journey with TeamViewer Host began when I started working remotely. I quickly realized that I needed a reliable way to access my work computer from home. TeamViewer Host became my go-to solution. One of the most common scenarios I encounter is when I need to access files or applications that are only available on my office computer. Whether it’s retrieving a document for a presentation or running a specific software, TeamViewer Host allows me to do this effortlessly.
Another scenario is when I help my family with tech issues. My parents often call me in a panic when their computer freezes or when they can’t figure out how to install a new program. With TeamViewer Host, I can jump in and resolve their issues without needing to drive over to their house. This has saved me countless hours and has made me the family tech support hero!
The user interface of TeamViewer Host is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon launching the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. Setting up unattended access was straightforward, and I appreciated the step-by-step instructions provided. The performance of the app is impressive; I’ve experienced minimal lag even when accessing devices over slower internet connections. The feature workflow is seamless, allowing me to switch between tasks without any hiccups. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel confident using the app for both personal and professional needs.
TeamViewer Host offers a free version for personal use, which is fantastic for individuals who need occasional remote access. However, for businesses and professionals, the pricing can vary based on the features required. The subscription plans are tiered, allowing users to choose a plan that best fits their needs. While it may seem a bit pricey for some, the value it provides in terms of productivity and efficiency is well worth the investment.
TeamViewer Host is regularly updated, which is a significant plus. I’ve noticed improvements in performance and new features being added over time. The support team is responsive and helpful; I once had a question about setting up a new device, and they got back to me within a few hours with a detailed response. The availability of online resources, including tutorials and FAQs, further enhances the overall support experience.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using remote access applications like TeamViewer Host. The app is available on official app stores, which adds a layer of trustworthiness. During the registration process, I was required to provide minimal personal data, which I appreciated. TeamViewer Host does not bombard users with ads or engage in intrusive tracking behavior, allowing me to use the app without feeling like my privacy is compromised.
Moreover, TeamViewer employs robust encryption protocols to protect data during remote sessions, which is crucial for safeguarding sensitive information. I feel secure knowing that my connections are protected, and I can easily manage access permissions for each session. Overall, TeamViewer Host prioritizes user security and privacy, making it a reliable choice for anyone concerned about these issues.

Works great until one day Teamviewer thinks your use is commercial, and then they only let you use it for 30 seconds at a time before disconnecting you for 10 minutes. I filled out the form declaring that my use was non-commercial, scanned it and sent it to Teamviewer, but it made no difference. I'd be willing to pay for personal use of the product, but it's not even an option.

It is a great app, and let you connect your phone with another one, but every time your phone is disconnected with another, another still connected, and then when you try to reconnect it. It will cancel. Only when you forcestop the app and reopen the app, it is back to work. I hope TeamViewer can let the other force stop connecting of previous one.

Unreliable. The host app (at least on 3 Samsung devices) goes to sleep, and cannot be woken up from outside. So much for unattended access. I have tried everything. Turning eco mode off in the app, changing battery usage in Android settings, even starting the app and letting it run in the backround. Also, when it does work, I can't see the screen to enter the unlock pin. It pops up on the tablet, but can't be seen on the remote so can't enter the code. Not really ready for prime time yet.

I installed this on an old samsun̈g Note8 and it seems to work as described, connecting with no prompt required to control the device. However I have installed it on a more resent Samsung galaxy A14 and now when connecting the A14 prompts for permission to record or cast before working. The only workarounds I can find seem to require developer access on the A14 to modify security permissions on the A14. I'd love to hear from the developer.

"scan the QR code from the Devices tab in the Remote Control app to set up unattended access" now how TF am i supposed to do that from a PC? and when i try to log in, i receive "Please enter the password displayed on the participant's device." nothing is showing. FFS, this is garbage.
