4.1 As someone who enjoys trivia and word games, I often find myself reaching for "Text or Die" during various scenarios. One of my favorite moments was during a long road trip with friends. To pass the time, we decided to have a trivia tournament using the app. Each person took turns picking categories, and the competitive spirit ignited laughter and friendly banter. It was a fantastic way to bond and keep the energy high during the drive.
Another scenario where "Text or Die" shines is during family gatherings. When the conversation starts to dwindle, I whip out the app, and suddenly everyone is engaged, trying to outdo each other with their word knowledge. It’s a great icebreaker and keeps the atmosphere lively, making it a staple in my social toolkit.
The user interface of "Text or Die" is sleek and intuitive, making it easy for anyone to jump right in. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a vibrant home screen that clearly displayed the various game modes available. Navigating through the categories was a breeze, and I appreciated how quickly I could set up a game. The loading times were minimal, which is crucial when you’re trying to keep the momentum going during a game night.
In terms of performance, the app runs smoothly without any noticeable lag, even when playing in multiplayer mode. I found the gameplay to be engaging, with the timer adding a sense of urgency that kept everyone on their toes. Overall, my experience with "Text or Die" has been overwhelmingly positive, as it combines fun, education, and social interaction seamlessly.
"Text or Die" is free to download, which is a significant advantage for casual gamers. However, it does offer in-app purchases for additional features and ad removal. I found the free version to be quite sufficient for my needs, but if you’re looking for an ad-free experience or extra content, the pricing is reasonable and worth considering.
The developers of "Text or Die" are proactive in providing updates, which is evident from the regular improvements and new features added to the app. I’ve noticed enhancements in gameplay and new categories being introduced, keeping the content fresh. Additionally, customer support is responsive; I had a minor issue with a game mode, and their team addressed it promptly, which left me feeling valued as a user.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and "Text or Die" does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was only required to provide minimal personal information, which is a relief compared to many other apps that demand extensive data.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that while the app does display advertisements, they are not overly intrusive. The option to remove ads through in-app purchases is a nice touch for those who prefer an uninterrupted experience. Overall, I feel secure using "Text or Die," knowing that my personal data is handled with care and that my gaming experience is not compromised by excessive tracking.

I've been playing this game for several months. All of a sudden tonight in the middle of a game it reset back to the first level. All of my progress is gone!!! Bad enough they show more and more adds. Right now there's an ad after every player elimination in addition to the ones between rounds. I endured them because I was enjoying the game (when it wasn't lagging, freezing up, or randomly closing ) but now that they removed all of my progress and acquired avatars, I am done!!!

Fun at first. Some answers are flat out wrong that they accept and sometimes they don't accept correct answers or they have them spelled wrong. Way too many ads. After a while I wasn't able to watch videos to get more coins (3x value) or more options that I saw other people had (different characters or platform options). Seems like it's just playing against a computer not real people. Turned out to be boring rather quickly. Huge disappointment.

A lot of words are missing. When they ask the questions there's so many times I've gotten it "wrong". For example, it asked "what is a type of board you can write on". I wrote "Chalkboard" and it said I was wrong. You can definitely write on a chalkboard and that's just one example. It's frustrating that a lot of the time you get no where because too many answers are missing. Uninstalled

First off there are a LOT of ads in this game! Second, there needs to be a way to make & play with friends, though game or Facebook, & then different game types like, Play with friends, teams, single, head to head. Also on that a way to join up and play in same game, if there's room. Third, more items for the platform, head, hands & then same with the characters there's not enough of them & not enough of a variety. Mostly boy ones more girl characters, BUT I do love the watching ads to unlock.

It's a really fun game! One of my favorites in fact! The reason for the three stars is that sometimes it dosen't recognise that you have the correct awnser. For instance, it said "name something you would eat at Christmas" and I said gingerbread cookies. And, for some reason it coumted that as wrong. But besides thoes minor issues, it's an amazing game!
