Just last Saturday, I decided to dive into a popular drama that everyone had been raving about. With a few taps, I was immersed in the storyline, completely forgetting about the world around me. Additionally, I frequently use the app while traveling. On a recent flight, I downloaded a couple of episodes to keep myself entertained during the journey, which made the hours fly by.

The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for download. During the registration process, I was required to provide minimal personal data, which is a relief compared to many other apps that demand extensive information.
Moreover, the app has a clear privacy policy that outlines how my data is used, which I appreciate. I’ve noticed some ads while using the app, but they are not overly intrusive, and I haven’t experienced any tracking behavior that raises red flags. Overall, I feel secure using "U: TV Player Stream on Demand," knowing that my personal information is handled with care.

Everything good pales against the--in my view--disrespectfully high frequency of ads. It's too easy to hit the "next episode" button given that the navigation generally is not hard but certainly less convenient. The app won't keep up in an effective, intuitive way with your progress through a series between visits, and when you search through episodes to get to where you were, up to nine ads await at every move. I don't expect an insufferable US-style 'viewing' experience from a BBC affiliate.

good choice of programmes. documentaries, etc, but for me, personally, they are ruined by the excessive advertising breaks. very much understandable why the programmes are recorded on other catch-up tv so you can fast forward the advert. I'm one of those. If I see an advert on tv or even YouTube, I will purposely not buy that product. BBC iplayer, yes, you pay for BBC, but it's well worth it, not watching something, then 10 minutes later interrupted by 3 minutes of advertising.

Even after updating the app it just forces you to watch adverts especially if you try and skip forwards or back to get to where you were it forces more adverts onto you and the amount goes up to as many as 10 ads! Not worth taking up storage space on my phone if it doesn't play any actual programs properly! Funny how it has no issues playing none stop adverts but can't play a show!

Good range of content. Seems a bit advert heavy. It didn't remember where I was, in the middle of an episode when I used it, so I had to watch all the adverts twice whilst scanning through when I came back to finish the episode. Otherwise, it's good.

Useless app when on the move, it doesn't offer a download option and any drop in mobile signal causes the app to stop streaming. When you resume it plays 2 mins of adverts before rewinding too far so you have to fast forward at which point it plays another block of ads. I've now given up trying to watch anything. It's funny how the app can stream dozens of ads but can't manage more than a few minutes of a program, someone has more interest in ad revenue than the programs...
