I set this up for a friend. Works OK but device gets very hot, will have to try other devices. Would be nice to know what the resolution is and have the ability to change it to save data/bandwidth and reduce the chance of buffering, not that it buffers. A volume control for the remote would be good, maybe numbers as well. Might be worth numbering the channels in the app. Edit: I have since discovered that it is possible to change video quality in the settings.

Usual problem after a Virgin Media update - can't get into the app, can't sign in without an error message, can't find any help online without going round the same old useless help pages, and can't make a complaint online as I can't sign in to the main website! I also don't want to spend hours on the phone to ultimately get nowhere and then discover more spam emails "mysteriously" sent to the email address only I and Virgin know! One star is a generous rating for their overall service.

I have no idea how this app is even allowed on the store. Basic functions like signing in dont work. It asks you to click a link sent by email to sign in. This email will take anywhere between 5 and 10 hours and will only be valid for 10 minutes so unless you stare at your emails its basically impossible. Alongside a number of issues with Virgin and o2, I will be moving my mobile and broadband contracts elsewhere.

Useless! I upgraded to 360 shortly before heading away on holiday, thinking I could use the app to set recordings while I was away - nope, doesn't work if the box is in standby mode. Recordings can only be watched at home, which is so ridiculous it's almost funny.

A poor replacement for the TV control app which I can no longer use since 'upgrading to Virgin 360. I used to be able to set up programmes to record from my phone. This app just keeps telling me my box is offline even while I'm sat in front of it watching a programme.
