3.5 VSCO: Photo Editor is not just another photo editing app; it’s a creative platform that empowers users to express themselves through stunning visuals. Here are some of its standout features:
As someone who loves photography, I find myself reaching for VSCO in various scenarios throughout my day. Whether I’m out exploring a new city or simply capturing moments at home, the app is always at my fingertips. For instance, during a recent weekend trip to the mountains, I took countless photos of the breathtaking landscapes. After a long day of hiking, I sat down with my phone and opened VSCO to edit my favorite shots. The app’s intuitive interface made it easy to enhance the colors and apply my go-to filters, allowing me to share my experiences with friends and family instantly.
The user interface of VSCO is sleek and minimalistic, which I appreciate as it allows me to focus on my photos without distractions. Navigating through the app is a breeze; I can quickly access my library, edit images, and share them with just a few taps. The editing workflow is smooth, with sliders that respond quickly to my adjustments, making it easy to fine-tune each image. I’ve noticed that the app performs exceptionally well, even when handling high-resolution photos, which is a significant plus for someone who often shoots in RAW format. Overall, my experience with VSCO has been overwhelmingly positive; it feels like a creative companion that enhances my photography journey.
VSCO offers a free version that includes basic editing tools and a limited selection of presets. However, for those who want to unlock the full potential of the app, there’s a subscription option available. The annual fee is quite reasonable considering the extensive library of filters and advanced features it provides. I opted for the subscription after a month of using the free version, and I can confidently say it was worth the investment.
VSCO regularly updates its app, introducing new features and filters that keep the experience fresh and exciting. I’ve noticed improvements in performance and additional editing tools with each update, which shows the developers’ commitment to enhancing user experience. Customer support is also commendable; I had a minor issue with my subscription, and the support team responded promptly and resolved it efficiently. This level of service makes me feel valued as a user.
When it comes to security and privacy, VSCO takes user concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. Upon registration, users are required to provide minimal personal data, which is a relief for those wary of sharing too much information. I appreciate that VSCO does not bombard users with ads, and it has a clear privacy policy that outlines how data is used. Additionally, the app does not engage in excessive tracking behavior, allowing me to enjoy my editing experience without feeling like my privacy is compromised. Overall, I feel secure using VSCO, knowing that my personal information is handled with care.

Would love to give an actual review of this, but the app is completely gated off behind a paywall. Even the free 7 day trial is not available without credit card info, which is obviously a ploy to make you pay if you don't cancel in time or making it very hard to cancel at all. Judging by all the reviews on here that had exactly that happen, I'm glad I deinstalled immediately. I don't buy something I have literally not seen, especially with so many amazing free apps available.

I would rate lower, if there was an option to do so! I got this app because I heard great things about it! Had for a few months paid the $19.99 and I can't even use anything within the app without it saying it costs, why is this happening?? Need this resolved or I want my money back, this is ridiculous when you pay for something and you can't even use it. Not a happy customer.

Right now we can't "copy edits" because you're pushing the membership and aren't letting the features work as usual. I see the developer has responded saying it's free to use. I know it usually is. Today there is a pop up that says "these features are also available in our membership" and when you try to click "continue without" it won't let you complete the action. But if you click join it works immediately.

I loved all the filters and really wish I'd had more time to explore the app (the free week was great, I just happen to have a horrible cold). Ultimately, I couldn't commit to paying for a full year up front without knowing how much I'd end up using it, though I definitely would've signed up for another month at the monthly rate (which is given for informational purposes, but is not a payment option) had that choice been available to me.

Love the high quality camera and the large selection of filters and editing features to make professional photos! However, when it comes to exporting my finished edits, there are many irritating technical difficulties. My camera roll receives the original photo before it was edited, rather than the finished edit. The deleting feature is fickle as well. When I select a photo to delete it, the thumbnail changes to another photo, and I get confused on what image I'm actually deleting. Please fix.
