4.3 Avast SecureLine VPN & Privacy is packed with features that cater to both casual users and privacy enthusiasts. Here are some of the standout highlights that make this VPN a compelling choice:
In my daily life, I often find myself in situations where a VPN is not just a luxury but a necessity. For example, while working from a coffee shop, I frequently connect to public Wi-Fi networks. Using Avast SecureLine VPN gives me the confidence to access sensitive work documents without worrying about data breaches. Additionally, during my recent trip abroad, I wanted to keep up with my favorite shows on streaming platforms that were geo-blocked. With just a few taps, I was able to connect to a U.S. server and enjoy my favorite content as if I were back home.
The user interface of Avast SecureLine VPN is refreshingly straightforward. Upon launching the app, I was greeted with a clean dashboard that displayed my connection status and a large button to connect or disconnect from the VPN. The workflow is intuitive; I could easily switch between servers and access settings without any confusion. Performance-wise, I experienced minimal lag while streaming videos, which is often a concern with VPNs. Overall, my experience has been positive, as the app runs smoothly and efficiently, making it a reliable companion for my online activities.
Avast SecureLine VPN offers a variety of pricing plans, including monthly and yearly subscriptions. The monthly plan is relatively affordable, but I opted for the yearly subscription to save some money in the long run. The pricing is competitive compared to other VPN services, especially considering the features and level of security provided. Additionally, they often run promotions, which can make the service even more budget-friendly.
Avast is known for its commitment to keeping its software updated, and SecureLine VPN is no exception. I’ve noticed regular updates that enhance performance and security features. The customer support is also commendable; I reached out with a query about server locations and received a prompt and helpful response. Their support team is available through various channels, including live chat and email, which adds to the overall positive experience.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when choosing a VPN. Avast SecureLine VPN is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the standards set by these platforms. When I registered for the app, I was only required to provide minimal personal information, which is a significant plus for privacy-conscious users like myself. Avast’s no-log policy is particularly reassuring; I appreciate that my online activities are not tracked or stored. Furthermore, I did not encounter any intrusive ads or tracking behavior while using the app, which is often a concern with free VPN services. Overall, Avast SecureLine VPN provides a robust solution for anyone looking to enhance their online privacy and security without compromising on usability.

I hate this browser so much like other Avast products. Suppose to be free and after trying to use it for like 2 weeks, I am uninstalling it for good. It works for one day then will not allow you to connect with websites. I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times I have lost count. Just not worth the effort. Will not allow you to sync desktop to phone without upgrading. Every single service you have to pay for. Why not have everything in one package along with a payment? You are greedy.

So far it seems effective, though I noticed that attempting to connect to a public Wi-Fi network, it did not want to connect at all. It just sat spinning for several minutes saying "Connecting..." That's not promising. I've had several clear incursions and other foibles occur on my devices. Would someone from Avast contact me and help me find a solution? I don't feel my mobile privacy is respected at all, and my devices are incredibly vulnerable. HELP PLEASE!!!!

I'm a paid user and I've been using Avast for a few years. My subscription is up for renewal next month. I'm considering dropping the service due to it being a major drain on my phone's battery. Many times I can't connect to websites. I have to disconnect in order to access websites leaving me vulnerable with no protection. For me, the subscription price is expensive and I expect better for the money & would like everything included with it instead of at a separate price.

Does the most basic of a job, but gets blocked alot from different apps even when still in the states. Only Netflix seems to allow it, but who knows how long. The free trial was fast reliable and worked with everything. After you start paying it bogs down. Has a hard tkme connecting to servers. Then slower than just using a connection without the VPN. Only thing that works it is easy to select a server and attempt to connect to it otherwise thats it.

I've used Avast on my computer and cellphone for a long time now, my only issue with them is they eat up the RAM on any device they run on... which if you have a device that doesn't have a minimum of 6GB of RAM it will run slow... On the cellphone they have too many apps to choose from, some of which are basically the same thing with different features, they need to just make an all in one app that does everything for one low price instead of having everything individually priced.
