4.5 Dialpad is a powerful communication platform that seamlessly integrates voice, video, and messaging into one user-friendly interface. Here are some of its standout features:
As a freelance consultant, I rely heavily on effective communication tools, and Dialpad has become an essential part of my daily routine. I use it for client calls, team meetings, and even casual check-ins with colleagues. One of my favorite scenarios is during project kick-off meetings. I can initiate a video call with clients, share my screen to present project timelines, and record the session for future reference. This feature has been invaluable for ensuring everyone is on the same page from the start.
The user interface of Dialpad is sleek and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through its various features. The dashboard is well-organized, allowing me to access my recent calls, messages, and meetings with just a few clicks. I particularly appreciate the workflow for scheduling meetings; it integrates with my calendar and sends out invites automatically. Performance-wise, I’ve experienced minimal lag during calls, even when using video, which is crucial for maintaining professionalism. Overall, my experience with Dialpad has been overwhelmingly positive, as it has streamlined my communication processes and improved my productivity.
Dialpad offers a variety of pricing plans to cater to different needs, starting from a free tier for basic features to more comprehensive plans for businesses. The pricing is competitive, especially considering the robust features included, such as AI insights and unlimited calling. For a freelancer like me, the mid-tier plan strikes a perfect balance between affordability and functionality, allowing me to access advanced features without breaking the bank.
Dialpad is committed to continuous improvement, regularly rolling out updates that enhance functionality and user experience. I’ve noticed several updates that have improved call quality and added new integrations. Their customer support is also commendable; I reached out once with a query about a feature, and the response was prompt and helpful. The support team is knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping users maximize their experience with the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when choosing a communication app like Dialpad. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, which is standard for most apps. Dialpad has a clear privacy policy that outlines how they handle user data, which I found reassuring.
Importantly, Dialpad does not bombard users with ads, and I have not noticed any intrusive tracking behavior while using the app. They prioritize user privacy, which is a significant factor for me when selecting communication tools. Overall, I feel confident using Dialpad, knowing that my data is handled with care and that my communications are secure.

If you want to run a legitimate business with this service, look elsewhere. You get constant spam calls and even with their filters, I got about 3 per hour from similar numbers. They have a fee for incoming texts and some people weren't unable to text or call period. Call quality was bad and laggy. They said they would process a refund after I cancelled my service (paid for a year) but after I cancelled I was immediately denied a refund. Poor service and shady operations, avoid.

The phone and desktop apps are both full of bugs, the apps barely function. They doubled their prices, but still can't offer a working product. The android app, as many here have been complaining about for months, just ring an incoming call alert endlessly, without prompting you with an option to answer the call. So not only does your call not come through, the only way to stop the device from ringing is to shut down and restart your phone. The web login is the only one that actually works.

Great when it works, but trust the 1 star reviews... their support team is awful. We've had several issues with their support team, including a major one that had our calls with clients get disconnected. For weeks, they told us that it was our network despite what we told them, and all along it was an update of their app! Dozens of hours wasted, and 80+ emails. In a separate instance, changing our billing from monthly to yearly has so far been 11 days and 8 e-mails. Frustrating.

At the most basic level, this app provides tools needed, and has occasional defects. At times the service is weak, despite my wifi being strong. However, the biggest issue I have experienced are MASSIVE fees and taxes, resulting in a 66% upcharge from the promoted rate. Be very careful when agreeing to a plan here, and be sure to ask them for a full breakdown of your anticipated first invoice. Again, you could end up paying 66% more than the rate you see advertised.

Great system misleading pricing. I was on the pro trial and I must say the system is excellent. Sadly I can't use it as what they don't make clear on the website is that you can only use the pro plan if you buy a minimum of 3 licenses. So for a single user it is not $35 a month, it is in fact $105 a month. This is terrible advertising and very misleading. They say just use the standard plan, but like all things app related the best stuff is in the pro plan.
