4.7 PXPlay: Remote Play is a powerful app that allows users to stream their favorite games and applications from their home console or PC to their mobile devices. Here are some of the standout features that make this app a must-have for gamers on the go:
As a busy professional and avid gamer, I often find myself juggling work and play. PXPlay: Remote Play has become an essential part of my daily routine. For instance, during my lunch breaks, I can quickly connect to my home console and squeeze in a few rounds of my favorite multiplayer game. The app's seamless streaming allows me to enjoy high-quality graphics and sound, making it feel like I'm right in front of my console. Additionally, on weekends, I often visit friends who don’t have the latest gaming systems. With PXPlay, I can bring my gaming library along and share the experience with them, turning any gathering into a gaming party.
The user interface of PXPlay is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon launching the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. Connecting to my console was straightforward, thanks to the step-by-step prompts. The feature workflow is smooth; I can easily switch between games and adjust settings without any lag. Performance-wise, I was pleasantly surprised by the minimal latency, even when streaming over Wi-Fi. The graphics were crisp, and the audio was clear, which enhanced my overall gaming experience. After using the app for several weeks, I can confidently say that PXPlay has exceeded my expectations, providing a reliable and enjoyable way to game on the go.
PXPlay: Remote Play offers a competitive pricing model that caters to various budgets. The app is free to download, with optional in-app purchases for premium features. I found the pricing reasonable, especially considering the quality of service provided. The premium subscription unlocks additional features like enhanced streaming quality and priority support, which I believe are worth the investment for serious gamers.
The developers of PXPlay are committed to providing regular updates, which is evident from the app's changelog. I’ve noticed improvements in performance and new features added with each update, keeping the app fresh and engaging. Customer support is also commendable; I reached out with a query regarding a minor issue, and the response was prompt and helpful. This level of support gives me confidence in the app's longevity and reliability.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that connects to my gaming console. PXPlay: Remote Play is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of trust as these platforms have strict security measures in place. During the registration process, I was required to provide minimal personal data, which I appreciated. The app does not bombard users with ads, and I have not noticed any intrusive tracking behavior, which is a significant plus for me. Overall, I feel secure using PXPlay, knowing that my data is handled responsibly and that my gaming experience remains uninterrupted by unwanted advertisements.

After a few back and forths with the developer, I was finally able to sync up my PlayStation with the app. The issues with hooking up my PS through my PSN account, not having to go through a bunch of extra steps including having to put my IP address in, I can't give it a 5, but I can give it a strong 4. I thought the connection was pretty stable, only cutting at odd times, probably not fault or the app. There's a good amount of settings, which is nice. I definitely recommend this app

Latest version isn't working in Samsung DeX. External monitor now shows like a remote gamepad and the video will only work on my tiny phone screen. Was great up until the update... Edit: Got it working... Making the default display option for external monitors be a gamepad is definitely a weird choice, especially when that just happened with this update.

Quality is unparalleled. I could even cast my screen to another TV via Wi-Fi with this app active. It can also continue to stream to the TV with the phone's display completely off. Quite simply, this app can do things that the native PS Remote play app can not. My only request would be to please add the option in settings to always launch the app in "Dark Mode".

Been messing with the app for a handful of days now, and I can't even begin to say enough good things about it. I still haven't figured out how to get the Internet play part figured out since some of the errors can be a bit technical with how your router is setup, but that's in no way the app creator's fault. If anything I applaud how detailed & helpful the troubleshooting pages are setup to be. The only star I'll take away is from myself for not having tried this much sooner.

Everything works very well. You will have to tinker with the settings to find that sweet spot for less/no frame-rate drop... 1 major thing I'm still figuring out: I couldn't play with friends. I have access to online, yes. But when it comes to actually inviting someone to join, they couldn't join. This is currently only on "Elden Ring", so I'll test out other games. 👍🏾
