4.4 SeatGeek is not just another ticketing app; it’s a comprehensive platform that enhances your event-going experience. Here are some of its standout features:
As someone who loves attending live events, I often find myself using the SeatGeek app in various scenarios. For instance, last month, I was planning a weekend getaway to New York City and wanted to catch a Broadway show. I opened the app, searched for shows during my stay, and was thrilled to find a few options that fit my schedule. The interactive seat map allowed me to choose the perfect seats, and I was able to purchase tickets right then and there.
Another scenario was when I wanted to attend a local music festival. I had heard about it through friends but wasn’t sure about the ticket prices. I set a price alert on SeatGeek, and within a few days, I received a notification that prices had dropped. I quickly grabbed my tickets, ensuring I didn’t miss out on the fun.
The user interface of SeatGeek is clean and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a well-organized layout that showcases upcoming events based on my location and interests. The search function is efficient, allowing me to filter events by date, category, or venue. I particularly appreciate the smooth workflow from searching for an event to purchasing tickets. The app performs seamlessly, with quick loading times and no glitches during my transactions. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel confident using SeatGeek for all my ticketing needs.
SeatGeek operates on a competitive pricing model, with ticket prices varying based on the event and seat selection. While the app itself is free to download and use, it does charge a service fee on each ticket purchased. I’ve found that the prices are often comparable to other ticketing platforms, and the added features, like the Deal Score and price alerts, make it worth the investment. Overall, I feel that the pricing is fair, especially considering the convenience and user-friendly experience the app provides.
SeatGeek regularly updates its app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I’ve noticed improvements in the app’s performance and additional functionalities over time, which shows that the developers are committed to providing a top-notch service. In terms of support, I’ve had to reach out to customer service once regarding a ticket issue, and I was pleasantly surprised by their prompt and helpful response. They resolved my issue quickly, which left me feeling valued as a customer.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that involves financial transactions. SeatGeek is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. The app requires users to register with personal information, including your name and email address, but I appreciate that they don’t ask for excessive data. The registration process is straightforward, and I felt secure providing my information.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I’ve noticed that SeatGeek does display some ads, but they are relevant to my interests and not overly intrusive. The app also has a clear privacy policy, which outlines how my data is used and protected. Overall, I feel confident that my personal information is secure while using SeatGeek, allowing me to focus on enjoying my events without worry.

Avoid this app. I paid for tickets and received blank ticket forms with no names, seat numbers, or barcodes. They were unusable, and I had to buy replacement tickets at the venue. Customer support asked me to answer multiple questions and promised a response within five days. I provided everything they requested, but after that they stopped responding. Now I'm forced to file a chargeback through my bank. Very disappointing experience.

attempted to buy parking passes. kept getting stuck on the loading screen after pressing pay now. went back to the ticket section and see no tickets in the parking pass box. attempted it again, only to get triple charged for parking passes. reach out to support and they say all sales are final. never using this app again. could not get through to support via the website. had to use AI to source the customer service number. outsourced heavy accent with bad headset, barely able to understand

I do not recommend purchasing from this website, as you could end up in a difficult situation. I bought World Cup tickets for over $3,500; based on the accompanying image, I believed the seats were located in the center of the stadium. However, the website did not specify the exact seat locations or numbers prior to purchase—it only displayed a generic image and a category number. After completing the payment, it turned out that the seats were actually situated behind a corner of the stadium .

was in queue then randomly got kicked out, then went back in queue for 2 1/2 hours with out moving in the line at all, refreshed the app and everything was already closed and didnt even get the chance to buy a ticket. I even entered the waiting room 30 minutes before sale time!! Even just being given a # would've been enough to see if everything was still working and that I was moving in the line but no I just stared at a line for hours to not even end up with anything

this app and company is horrible. after purchasing tickets, you later find out the exact seat, row location that is different than what you wanted. I purchased a parking pass for a basketball game...... the night before the game, I receive the pass that is to some garage over a mile away that I require another parking app that adds additional fees. I am bringing my father who can not walk that far so I needed to cancel..... didn't allow it, makes you resell?!?! horrible, never use !!!!!!
