4.5 Tor Browser is not just another web browser; it’s a powerful tool designed to protect your privacy and anonymity online. Here are some of its standout features that make it a must-have for anyone concerned about their digital footprint:
As someone who values privacy, I often find myself using Tor Browser in various scenarios. For instance, when I’m traveling and need to access sensitive information, such as my bank account or personal emails, I rely on Tor to ensure that my connection is secure. Additionally, I use it to research topics that might be controversial or sensitive, allowing me to gather information without the fear of being monitored. Whether I’m looking into political issues or simply browsing for personal interests, Tor provides a safe haven for my online activities.
The user interface of Tor Browser is straightforward and user-friendly, resembling that of Firefox, which makes it easy to navigate for anyone familiar with standard web browsers. The workflow is seamless; I can easily adjust security settings and access bookmarks without any hassle. Performance-wise, while Tor can be slower than traditional browsers due to the multiple layers of encryption, I find that the trade-off for enhanced security is well worth it. Overall, my experience has been positive; I feel empowered knowing that I can browse the internet without compromising my privacy.
One of the best aspects of Tor Browser is that it is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees or premium versions, which makes it accessible to everyone. This is particularly important for users who may not have the budget for paid privacy tools but still want to protect their online presence.
Tor Browser is regularly updated to address security vulnerabilities and improve functionality. The development team is proactive in releasing patches, which gives me confidence in the software’s reliability. Additionally, the support community is robust, with forums and documentation available for users who may have questions or need assistance. I’ve found that the community is quite helpful, often providing quick solutions to common issues.
For American users, security and privacy are paramount, and Tor Browser excels in these areas. Available on official app stores, it ensures that users can download it safely without the risk of malware. Importantly, Tor does not require any personal data for registration, allowing users to maintain their anonymity right from the start.
Moreover, Tor Browser is designed to minimize tracking behavior. Unlike many mainstream browsers that collect user data for advertising purposes, Tor does not track your browsing history or serve you targeted ads. This is a significant advantage for those who are concerned about their online privacy and want to avoid being bombarded with ads based on their previous searches.
In conclusion, Tor Browser stands out as a powerful tool for anyone looking to enhance their online privacy and security. With its unique features, user-friendly experience, and commitment to anonymity, it’s a browser that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who values their digital freedom.

I've been using this app for a while now, but it suddenly doesn't let me look anything up in the search bar, so all of my bookmarks are also useless now! (I've reopened the app, turned my vpn off, changed my vpn location too, and nothing works [mobile data or via wifi, I believe]! I'll keep trying for a bit longer, but please look into this ASAP [I'll update this review if there are any changes]!)

The fact that you can't see your entry or exit node easily (without viewing a log or 3rd party website) is kind of crazy. Unless I'm missing something, this is a wild thing to omit from the mobile version of this browser. Otherwise, it's pretty fast, but I wish uBlock came installed by default like NoScript, it would makes for a good browsing experience. That or a very powerful built-in ad blocker. It also seems faster to close the app and relaunch than it is to establish a New Connection...

I am now of the opinion that one cannot use only one browser. So, I've installed a few to analyze them, and settle on 3. Tor was the very first and I'm impressed already. Nice appearance, easy to get up & running, great security settings, enough options for comfortably, and a bundle of add ons to customize it. So far I'm impressed and quite taken back by the efficiency with which it displays, plus the settings are at your fingertips with no articles and 20 step procedures and protocols to forget

This is my go to browser, it could be a bit more user friendly at times, but I have been using this browser for years, and it has been consistent, and dependable! Knowing that I can safely surf the web without being tracked, spammed, or counted for some corporations statistics takes alot of the stress out of the the technology that seems necessary for every day life....

PROS: This app can work as a second VPN to hide your browsing IP while allowing you to use another VPN for a firewall. The safe browsing features are good. CONS: The app itself can be spotty. If you manage to get connected to the TOR network then you might randomly timeout and lose your connection. Now you will have to close the app and start over again. Browsing can be slow. Cloudflare verifications can be slow and a lot of sites use them. Wish: make it quicker to clear browser history.
