4.5 Trucker Path: Truck GPS & Fuel is a comprehensive app designed specifically for truck drivers, offering a suite of features that cater to the unique needs of the trucking industry. Here are some of its standout features:
As a long-haul truck driver, I rely heavily on Trucker Path for my daily routes. One particular instance stands out: I was on a tight schedule delivering goods across state lines. I opened the app to plan my route, and it not only provided me with the best path but also highlighted rest stops along the way. This feature was crucial as I needed to take breaks while adhering to my driving hours. Additionally, I used the fuel price comparison feature to find the cheapest gas station along my route, which saved me both time and money. The app has become an indispensable tool in my daily operations, making my job easier and more efficient.
The user interface of Trucker Path is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean layout that makes navigation a breeze. The map is easy to read, and the truck-specific navigation is a game-changer. I appreciate how the app allows me to input my truck's dimensions, ensuring that I receive accurate routing. The performance is smooth, with minimal lag, even when I’m in areas with poor signal. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive; the app feels like it was designed by truckers for truckers, which is evident in its thoughtful features and usability.
Trucker Path offers a free version that includes many essential features, making it accessible for all truck drivers. However, for those who want to unlock premium features, such as advanced route planning and ad-free usage, there is a subscription option available. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the savings on fuel and time that the app can provide. I find the investment worthwhile, as it enhances my driving experience significantly.
The developers of Trucker Path are proactive in providing updates, which is crucial for an app that relies on real-time data. I’ve noticed regular improvements and new features being added, which keeps the app fresh and relevant. Customer support is also commendable; I had a minor issue with the app once, and their support team responded promptly and resolved my concern efficiently. This level of support gives me confidence in using the app long-term.
When it comes to security and privacy, Trucker Path takes several measures to protect its users. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. Upon registration, users are required to provide minimal personal data, which is a plus for those concerned about privacy. The app does display ads, but they are not overly intrusive, and I appreciate that they are relevant to the trucking industry. Additionally, I have not noticed any aggressive tracking behavior, which is a common concern among users today. Overall, I feel secure using Trucker Path, knowing that my data is handled responsibly.

The latest update is freaking terrible. Truck stops not showing up that you can clearly see are there and you've been to before. the only reason it gets one star because I like the feature that you can tell without having to click on the truck stop if it has spaces available or if it's full. I don't know why it's filtering out toss there's one 30 mi away from me on my route but for some reason it's not showing up as a place to stop. this app keeps getting worse.

honestly I hate that I rely on this app for new places. no matter how many stops i put, or avoiding paths (diamond user) I'll be driving down the road and out of nowhere it'll change my route to the most time efficient. I do not give a f*** about efficiency, I am creating my routes for myself... I should have an option to turn off force route changes. I shouldn't have to fight the app I pay for good routes. I'm the driver I know the good route, I just like using trucker path as a time frame.

This is the app I use as a trucker to plan my trip. it used to be so good, now after what seems like an update I didn't get a say over, the UI has changed and the whole app is slower loading my routes, the ETA is way off, my Garmin has a very close ETA while Trucker path can be off by 20 minutes when it used to be accurate before, and maybe worst of all, it keeps changing my appointment times and depart times on my itinerary!! What the hell happened?!

So I have a number of issues with this app. most of the time if You cannot make the turn that it suggested, Rather than rerouting it keeps telling me I'm getting further from my turn without actually trying to point out a u-turn spot or rerouting. second issue is several times now I have had it reroute around an accident then randomly change back to the normal course without me noticing and getting me stuck in a 2-hour traffic jam when it already had initially avoided that. + multiple crashes

This is, by far, the best truck navigation map I have ever used. However, there are times when it fails to display "Weigh Stations" in certain locations; it only prompts me to confirm whether the Weigh Station is open or closed once I have arrived at that exact spot. Furthermore, it gives turn instructions too late; it might say "turn right" just as I reach the intersection, causing me to miss the turn. Please take these issues into consideration and release an update.
