4.5 The "Apartment List: Rent app" is a powerful tool for anyone looking to find their next home. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, it simplifies the often overwhelming process of apartment hunting. Here are some of the standout features that make this app a must-have for renters:
As someone who recently moved to a new city for work, I found myself in need of a reliable apartment-hunting tool. The "Apartment List: Rent app" became my go-to resource. I used it daily to browse listings during my lunch breaks and even while relaxing at home in the evenings. The app's personalized search filters allowed me to quickly narrow down options based on my budget, preferred neighborhoods, and essential amenities. I often found myself scrolling through potential apartments while sipping coffee, excitedly saving my favorites for later review.
The user interface of the "Apartment List: Rent app" is sleek and intuitive. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. The search bar is prominently displayed, allowing me to jump right into my apartment hunt. I appreciated the smooth workflow; filtering results was straightforward, and I could easily switch between list and map views to get a better sense of the locations. Performance-wise, the app was responsive, with quick loading times and no crashes during my usage. Overall, my experience was overwhelmingly positive, and I felt empowered to make informed decisions about my next home.
One of the best aspects of the "Apartment List: Rent app" is that it is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees or subscription costs, which is a significant advantage for renters who are already managing a budget. The app generates revenue through partnerships with property managers, ensuring that users can access a wealth of listings without spending a dime.
The app is regularly updated, which is evident in the new features and improvements I’ve noticed over time. Customer support is also commendable; I had a question about a listing and reached out through the app’s help section. I received a prompt and helpful response, which reassured me that the developers are committed to enhancing user experience. The ongoing updates and responsive support make me feel confident in using the app for my future rental needs.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that deals with personal information. The "Apartment List: Rent app" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, but I appreciated that the app does not ask for sensitive data like Social Security numbers or financial information.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, the app does display some advertisements, but they are not intrusive. I noticed that the app uses tracking to improve user experience, but it is transparent about this in its privacy policy. Overall, I felt secure using the app, knowing that my data was handled responsibly and that I could easily manage my privacy settings within the app.

If there are any affordable places in town, this will not have them. However, if you would like to see the most expensive places in those same neighborhoods, you're in the right place. But, seriously. there's at least a small few in every other search ap/site. not this one, lowest options are 300-700 over budget when I know options exist.

They changed the system and it's awful and overwhelming. they made it to where if you just like something they send out a thing saying that you want the apartment and you get completely overwhelmed by everyone you liked on the list immediately messaging you even if you weren't sure. I was just starting my search again and this was a horrible experience. let people choose if they want to reach out to these people don't bombard someone so they can't even get a minute to look between the options.

the match feature is awful I put in what I was looking for and not a single apartment was even close to what I put. most where 500$+ over my budget or not the correct # of bedrooms and over budget. overall this app didnt help me at all in my apartment search and was a waste of data and storage. I think If you could select non-negotiable items that your looking for it would improve the app even if there are no matches it would be better then it is now.

This app feels more like a pushy car salesman than an apartment finder. When I set my price budget, this app NEVER shows listings within my budget, always higher... I'll pass on this app. If you don't worry about how much your rent is, this is a good app for you. If you're on a budget, aim lower than you can actually afford. Best of Luck 🤞🏻

Some ok apartments, seems limited to me. Either you can spend an arm and a leg or you can be in sketchy areas. I know the DFW area has more to offer. Also, I can't stand how the app automatically notifies the complex if you click like/love. They end up emailing and calling you. You shouldn't have to have your information given out just for creating a list of potential places you might want to look into. This app is invasive for that reason alone!!! Update the app!
