4.6 The Costco Wholesale app is a powerful tool that enhances the shopping experience for members. With its user-friendly interface and a variety of features, it makes grocery shopping and bulk buying more convenient than ever. Here are some of the core features that stand out:
As a busy professional and a parent, I often find myself juggling multiple responsibilities. The Costco Wholesale app has become an essential part of my routine. For instance, every Sunday, I sit down with my family to plan our meals for the week. I use the app to create a shopping list based on our meal plan, ensuring that I have everything I need for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When I head to Costco, I simply pull up my list, making my shopping trip efficient and stress-free.
Additionally, during the holiday season, I rely on the app to keep track of special promotions and bulk deals. Last year, I used the app to order a large quantity of holiday decorations and gifts online for pickup. This not only saved me time but also ensured that I got everything I needed without the hassle of navigating crowded aisles.
The user interface of the Costco Wholesale app is clean and intuitive. Navigating through different sections is straightforward, and I appreciate how quickly I can access my shopping list, current promotions, and my digital membership card. The app’s performance is generally smooth, with minimal loading times, which is crucial when I’m in a hurry. I particularly enjoy the feature that allows me to scan barcodes to check prices and availability, making it easy to compare products on the go.
Overall, my experience with the app has been overwhelmingly positive. It has streamlined my shopping process and made it more enjoyable. I feel empowered to make informed decisions, and the convenience it offers has significantly reduced the stress associated with grocery shopping.
The Costco Wholesale app is free to download and use, but it does require a Costco membership to access its full range of features. Membership fees vary depending on the type of membership you choose, but the savings you can achieve through the app and in-store purchases often outweigh the cost. For families like mine, the ability to buy in bulk and access exclusive deals makes the membership a worthwhile investment.
Costco regularly updates the app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I’ve noticed improvements in the app’s speed and functionality over time, which shows that the developers are committed to providing a top-notch experience. If I ever encounter issues, Costco’s customer support is responsive and helpful. They offer assistance through the app and their website, making it easy to resolve any concerns I might have.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and the Costco Wholesale app does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, which is standard for membership-based services.
Importantly, the app does not bombard users with ads, which is a relief. Instead, it focuses on providing a seamless shopping experience. I appreciate that Costco is transparent about its data collection practices, and I feel confident that my personal information is handled securely. Overall, I have no significant privacy concerns while using the app, and I trust Costco to protect my data.

Same Day "Buy it again" was Awesome for repeat purchases!!! Now they removed the option to remove products you don't want listed there. Now it's a useless feature full of stuff I don't want! Doesn't have bug submission options or even tech support! D:< Also every time you back out it sends you to the top of the list, so sorry if you have over 100 items in there and need item details, can't pick up where you left off. Maddening.

I don't understand how people could give 4.7 rating. This app is a total embarrassment. It ALWAYS laggs, ALWAYS takes extremely long to load any page, it is ALWAYS inflexible (meaning that if you want to just "go back" to the previous page, it will make a HUGE deal out of it and will get stuck, so that the only solution is to exit the app and then try your luck to find that product again). Also, sometimes it doesn't allow you to add the item to your cart 🤷 (the item is in stock).

I absolutely love Costco but man, the app couldn't be any worse. It was already terrible to begin with and it has recently started to give the "page not found" error message when I try to access certain areas such as my shopping cart, purchase history, you know the stuff that's pretty important for shopping online. Please fix this asap or just hire a more knowledgeable app developer, period.

Please Improve Order Search Searching for past orders is limited to 3-month windows at a time. Who remembers the exact 90-day window they bought something in?? If there's a reason for this, it's not helping out on the customer's end. Please make this reasonable and better yet, searchable, like every other e-commerce app. Bad UX. Please fix. Thanks.

Edit: Fix you app! I can't even use it anymore. Search function broke This app is an absolute dumpster fire. Can't even view my cart. Pressing the back button on Android erases my search results instead of taking me back to my search results. Incredibly slow to receive data from Costco servers. From a company like Costco, and in 2024 no less, I expect much much more. Lack of intuition in navigating the menus. Feel free to contact me for further input, or if you want to hire me to fix your app.
