4.6 The "eufy-original eufy Security" app is a powerful tool designed to enhance your home security experience. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, it stands out in the crowded market of security applications. Here are some of its core features that truly make a difference:
Using the "eufy-original eufy Security" app has seamlessly integrated into my daily life. One of the most significant scenarios is when I leave home for work. I set up my security cameras to monitor the front and back entrances. Each morning, I check the app to ensure everything is secure before I head out. Additionally, during family gatherings, I use the app to keep an eye on the kids playing outside, ensuring they are safe while I enjoy some time with relatives indoors.
Another scenario is when I travel. I recently took a week-long trip, and the app became my lifeline. I could check in on my home multiple times a day, ensuring everything was as it should be. The live streaming feature allowed me to see my home in real-time, and I even used the two-way audio to remind my neighbor to water my plants, making it feel like I was right there.
The user interface of the "eufy-original eufy Security" app is intuitive and easy to navigate. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean dashboard that displays all my connected devices. The workflow is straightforward; I can access live feeds, check notifications, and adjust settings with just a few taps. The performance is impressive, with minimal lag when streaming video, even on a weak Wi-Fi connection. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The app feels responsive and reliable, which is crucial when it comes to security.
The pricing for the "eufy-original eufy Security" app is quite reasonable, especially considering the features it offers. The app itself is free to download and use, but there are optional cloud storage plans available for those who prefer that option. I appreciate that I can choose to store my footage locally without incurring additional costs, making it a budget-friendly choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security.
eufy regularly updates the app to improve functionality and security, which is reassuring for users like me. I’ve noticed enhancements in the user interface and additional features rolled out over time. The customer support team is responsive and helpful; I reached out once with a question about setting up my cameras, and they provided a detailed response within a few hours. This level of support adds to my overall satisfaction with the product.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one related to home security. The "eufy-original eufy Security" app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary standards for safety and reliability. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, but I appreciated that the app does not ask for excessive data, which can often be a red flag.
Importantly, I have not encountered any intrusive ads or tracking behavior while using the app. eufy emphasizes user privacy, and I feel confident that my data is secure. The option for local storage further enhances my sense of security, as I know my footage is not being stored on external servers unless I choose to do so. Overall, the app aligns well with my expectations for privacy and security, making it a trustworthy choice for home monitoring.

I have had the l60 for about 5 months now. It worked flawlessly up until recently. Now it can no longer find any of the stored maps. It won't even Auto clean the house. Remapping the house also does not work. FYI, for anyone wondering, I had been using the Eufy Clean app for a while and decided to switch to this app since it also manages my vacuum as well as my cameras. Both apps are showing the same symptoms.

Honestly between this and the previous app my experience hasn't gotten better for my C20. When it does work, it works well. However after working as intended for 2-3 full vacuum sessions, it randomly "gets disconnected", so I have to reconnect it. It's not a huge deal, but it's an annoying inconvenience. I've started just pressing the button on the C20 itself to start the vacuum process and neglect usung the app. Never had this issue with other products, including the previous bot vacuums.

I am shocked by the high rating this app has. If you get a notification, then you select the video, it takes you to the video but it just says it's decrypting and never plays. You have to go into events. The app stacks notifications all at the same time. You might not get the notification until hours later sometimes. Then you get so many notifications that you ask Android to mute, but Eufy ignores the mute for 1 hour request. So you have to go back into the app to adjust, then hope you remember.

I had to come back and alter my review. This app gets worse the longer I have it. It takes forever to view a video I was just notified on. Encryption takes over a minute per video. I'd consider changing cameras if I didn't have the money wrapped up in these. It's turned to complete trash anymore. By the way, their cameras will not charge below 32 degrees. Half of America sees temps below that level.

Do not buy eufy products until the app is fixed. Until recently, I've recommended eufy to several family/friends. But I won't be doing so any time soon. Like many others have said, the recent updates have caused the app to open slowly and videos to load slowly. Nothing else has changed on my end that could have caused this. Until this is resolved, the "security" feature of eufy cameras is useless. By the time you're able to view the notification, whatever triggered it will be gone. Fix your app!
