4.2 The FIXD OBD2 Scanner is a powerful tool that transforms the way you interact with your vehicle. With its user-friendly app and reliable hardware, it offers a range of features that make car maintenance easier and more efficient. Here are some of the standout features that I found particularly useful:
As a car owner, I often find myself in situations where having a reliable diagnostic tool is invaluable. One such instance was during a family road trip. Halfway through our journey, the check engine light illuminated on my dashboard. Instead of panicking or heading to a mechanic, I pulled out my FIXD OBD2 Scanner. Within moments, I connected it to my car's OBD2 port and launched the app. The scanner quickly diagnosed the issue, revealing a minor problem with the fuel system. This allowed me to make an informed decision about whether to continue driving or seek immediate assistance. Thanks to FIXD, we were able to complete our trip without any major interruptions.
The user interface of the FIXD app is incredibly intuitive. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean dashboard that displayed my vehicle's health status at a glance. Navigating through the various features was a breeze, and I appreciated how the app guided me through the diagnostic process step-by-step. The performance was smooth, with quick response times when connecting to the scanner and retrieving data. I felt empowered knowing that I could access detailed information about my vehicle's performance and maintenance needs right from my smartphone. Overall, my experience with the FIXD OBD2 Scanner has been overwhelmingly positive, making car maintenance less daunting and more manageable.
The FIXD OBD2 Scanner is reasonably priced, especially considering the value it provides. The initial cost of the scanner is around $59.99, which includes the hardware and access to the app's basic features. For those looking for more advanced features, there is a subscription option available that unlocks additional functionalities, such as enhanced diagnostics and personalized maintenance schedules. Given the potential savings on repairs and the peace of mind it offers, I believe the investment is well worth it.
FIXD regularly updates its app to improve functionality and user experience. I’ve noticed several updates since I started using it, which have added new features and enhanced existing ones. The customer support team is also commendable; I had a minor issue with connecting the scanner to my vehicle, and their response was prompt and helpful. They provided clear instructions that resolved my issue quickly, which left me feeling supported and valued as a customer.
As an American user, I take security and privacy seriously, especially when it comes to apps that require personal data. The FIXD OBD2 Scanner is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. The app does require registration, but the information requested is minimal and primarily focused on vehicle details rather than sensitive personal data. I appreciate that FIXD does not bombard users with ads, and I have not noticed any intrusive tracking behavior while using the app. Overall, I feel secure using FIXD, knowing that my data is handled responsibly and that my privacy is respected.

Absolute piece of trash. My vehicles dash board resembled a Christmas Tree with as many lights as it had activated (6 to be exact) ABS, AWD, VSC, BRAKE SYSTEM, SERVICE ENGINE. And one more. Yet this product said 'No Issues Detected' No matter how many times I scanned. App was up to date and everything else was operational (it connected to the device without any issues) So, save your money for something that actually works. I ended up getting a $30 device that did the job.

bad customer service. cancelled but they still took 100 bucks out of my account. I immediately called emailed you name it. emailed there customer service , Google play, my bank, its been almost a month and I still haven't gotten. my money back . I called right away as soon as I saw the charge go through. like hey hello no no. I dont want that. should have been a simple fix and refund. now all my bills are screwed who has a extra 100 to just burn or come up missing. its messed up.

I bought the device and didn't quite get what I was looking for in the device. I decided to cancel the 7 day trial period. At the trial period ended, I was charged for the subscription. I reached out to customer service via email and response was instantaneous. We had a dialogue and in a few days the refund hit my account. No complaints here. Not sure what was different based on the other feedbacks but I think FixD did a swell job supporting me.

I honestly thought this was going to be great. Got 2 code readers on a deal, and a trial of the premium app. 1st car I try it on, neither sensor will read. (Mind you, I have another code reader and it works just fine). Second car I try them on, the app shows a CEL and a major trouble code, and yet, the CEL isn't even on AND on scanning with another reader, it shows NO codes. I'm pretty sure it's all a bid to get you to upgrade to the premium app by scaring you into thinking you have a problem.

i followed all the steps and the scanner went through two full scans of my engine and transmission only to tell me my car wasnt responding to it. I tried u installing the app and also tried it other days but it still did the same thing. I decided to just buy a code reader and try that and it worked immediately. I reccomend getting the OBD2 for $45. Faster and straightforward, but more expensive.
