4.7 The "Rightmove Property Search" app is a powerful tool for anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent property in the UK. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, it stands out as a go-to resource for property seekers. Here are some of its core features that make it a must-have:
As someone who has recently embarked on the journey of finding a new home, I found myself using the "Rightmove Property Search" app almost daily. My primary scenario was searching for a rental property in a new city. I was relocating for work and needed to find a place that was not only affordable but also close to my office. The app became my trusty companion during this process. I would often sit down with a cup of coffee in the morning, scrolling through listings while making notes of properties I wanted to visit. Additionally, I used the app to keep an eye on the market trends in my desired area, which helped me feel more confident in my choices.
The user interface of the "Rightmove Property Search" app is sleek and intuitive. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. The search bar is prominently displayed, allowing me to jump right into my property hunt. I appreciated how quickly the app loaded listings, and the high-quality images made it easy to visualize each property. The workflow for saving searches and setting alerts was straightforward, and I found myself effortlessly managing my preferences. Overall, my experience with the app was positive; it felt like I had a personal real estate agent in my pocket, guiding me through the process with ease.
One of the best aspects of the "Rightmove Property Search" app is that it is completely free to download and use. There are no hidden fees or subscription costs, which is a significant advantage for users like me who are already navigating the financial complexities of moving. The app generates revenue through advertising, but this does not detract from the user experience, as the ads are relevant and unobtrusive.
Rightmove regularly updates its app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I noticed improvements in loading times and the addition of new filters after a recent update, which made my searches even more efficient. The support team is also responsive; I had a minor issue with notifications not coming through, and after reaching out, I received a prompt and helpful response. This level of customer service adds to the overall positive experience of using the app.
As an American user, I have specific concerns regarding security and privacy when using apps like "Rightmove Property Search." The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which reassures me about its legitimacy and safety. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, but I appreciated that the app clearly outlined how my data would be used. There are no intrusive ads or excessive tracking behavior, which is a significant plus in today’s digital landscape. Overall, I felt secure using the app, knowing that my information was handled responsibly and that my privacy was respected.

This is a really lovely app for finding properties, but I wish they would add a feature to it: I wish they would add a notes section where you can make a note on the properties you've saved. This would be a note only you can see. "Rang them. Property no longer available. " "Viewing Tuesday at 2" "Conservatory, but no pets allowed." That would be really helpful.

The best property listing site i have used! But in the spirit of "all of us can better", i would provide a lot more information about schools, neighborhoods and localities, and transportation (in London, this requires work but look to city-hopper, or whatever app), and shops (groceries, cafes, shopping malls parking, foot-fall, traffic business and volume etc). It is all possible with a little extra work. More comparative information would also facilitate faster decision making.

As I said in the previous review it ONLY shows the max properties. It should ALL properties up to that price. This is on both list and maps. Even when you click search this area it only shows the max. I'm not making stuff up, despite how much easier for the developers it would be if I was. You've essentially made it so the user can only search for one price.

Its a really good app thats nice to use but one letdown is the distance checker. I've set the search to five miles from my chosen location but it will still show me properties that are eight or eleven miles away. Doesn't make sense. But apart from that, it is a really good app. Would recommend.

It's not a bad app. Has a good selection of features to narrow down a search. My main gripe is that it's not possible to save a search unless I include "student accommodation". As I'm not a student, I have no interest in house shares with teenagers but apparently it's mandatory. Not sure who is paying for that class of rented accommodation to be pushed as feedback has fallen on deaf ears.
