2.2 Ticketmaster is a powerhouse in the ticketing industry, and its app, "Ticketmaster-Buy, Sell Tickets," brings a wealth of features that make it a go-to choice for event-goers. Here are some of the core features that stand out:
As someone who loves attending live events, I frequently find myself using the Ticketmaster app. Just last month, I was planning a weekend getaway and wanted to catch a concert in the city I was visiting. I opened the app, searched for events in that area, and within minutes, I had purchased tickets to see my favorite band. The convenience of being able to buy tickets on the go is something I truly appreciate.
Another scenario where the app shines is when I have friends visiting from out of town. I often use it to find local events that we can attend together. Just last week, I used the app to find a comedy show that was happening the same night my friends arrived. We had a blast, and it was all thanks to the easy event discovery feature of Ticketmaster.
The user interface of the Ticketmaster app is clean and intuitive. Navigating through the various sections is straightforward, and I never felt lost while using it. The search function is particularly robust, allowing me to filter events by date, location, and category. I also appreciate the quick loading times; whether I’m browsing events or checking my ticket status, everything happens seamlessly.
One of my favorite aspects of the app is the notifications I receive about upcoming events. I’ve set alerts for my favorite artists, and I love getting a heads-up when they announce new shows. Overall, my experience with the app has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel confident using it for all my ticketing needs.
Ticketmaster operates on a dynamic pricing model, which means that ticket prices can vary based on demand. While some tickets can be quite affordable, others, especially for high-demand events, can be pricey. However, the app often features exclusive deals and presales that can help you snag tickets at a better price. I’ve found that keeping an eye on the app can lead to some great savings.
Ticketmaster regularly updates its app to enhance user experience and fix any bugs. I’ve noticed improvements in the app’s performance over time, which is a testament to their commitment to user satisfaction. If I ever encounter an issue, the customer support team is responsive and helpful. I once had a question about my ticket purchase, and I received a prompt reply through their support chat feature.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that involves financial transactions. The Ticketmaster app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, including my name and email address, which is standard for ticketing apps.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I’ve noticed that the app does collect data to personalize my experience, but it’s done transparently. I appreciate that Ticketmaster provides options to manage my privacy settings, allowing me to control what data I share. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my personal information is handled responsibly.

Lost tickets because it kept crashing. Literally wasted hours trying, had tickets in my cart numerous times, and the app would crash each time I tried to actually buy them. Contacted support and they were rude and gave me insane attitude. Their only answer to my trying to troubleshoot was "try again tomorrow," despite this being an incredibly popular artist who definitely wouldn't have tickets left the next day.

The app never wants to keep me signed in. You also can't favorite events, just artists/teams. it makes it really hard to find events and come back to them later. If you try and go back from anywhere, it takes you back to the homepage. It's the worst app I've ever used. I would refuse to use it, but the have a monopoly on the industry and use it to abuse their customers. Edit: It's not any better.

Only works 40% of the time. Buggy and crash a lor. Backend developers, please!!! You gotta be really lucky if it loads for you. Also, really annoying that there's a "remember me" option for logging in, but you always get signed out anyways 🙃 July 2025 update: still sucks! I'm literally logged into my account on the app yet I can't view a single ticket for the event I want to go to. Keeps telling me I need to either sign in, hop onto WiFi, or use a different device. Super annoyed.

Many bugs and glitches in this app. The stupidest part is that they won't let you sign in with your user ID and password through the app, instead it links to the browser it chooses and makes you sign in through a browser. This causes other problems. Also when you purchase tickets it's totally inconsistent when they actually show up in your account it may show up same day, next day or 20 to 30 days later. Either way you're locked out from selling them a transferring them to someone else.

Just awful. 1st, TM is horrible to start. Fees are completely out of control, but that's not new. Appreciate is practically unusable half the time. Extremely slow and a constant stream of blank screens that fail to load or error messages. For example, had to use my web browser just to buy parking tix for an arena and had to force stop the app 3 times to access them. ALWAYS transfer your tix to Google wallet or similar, very strong chance you won't be able to access via this app at the venue.
