4.2 Zoopla is a powerful property search app that has become a go-to tool for many home seekers in the UK. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, it simplifies the often overwhelming process of finding a new home. Here are some of the standout features that make Zoopla a must-have for anyone in the property market:
As someone who recently embarked on the journey of finding a new home, I turned to the Zoopla app for assistance. My daily life revolved around searching for properties that fit my criteria, and Zoopla quickly became my trusted companion. I often found myself using the app during my commute, scrolling through listings while on the train. The ability to save properties and set alerts meant that I could keep track of new listings without having to constantly check back. Additionally, I used the app during weekend viewings, where I could quickly reference property details and market insights right from my phone, making the process much smoother.
The user interface of the Zoopla app is intuitive and visually appealing. Navigating through the app feels seamless, with a clean layout that makes it easy to find what you're looking for. The search functionality is straightforward, and I appreciated how quickly the app loaded results. Each property listing includes high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and essential information like nearby schools and transport links. I found the overall performance to be impressive, with minimal lag even when browsing through numerous listings. After using the app extensively, I felt confident in my property search, thanks to the wealth of information and tools at my fingertips.
One of the best aspects of the Zoopla app is that it is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees or subscription costs, which makes it accessible for everyone, whether you're a first-time buyer or a seasoned investor. The app generates revenue through advertising, but this does not detract from the user experience, as the ads are relevant and unobtrusive.
Zoopla regularly updates its app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I noticed improvements in the search functionality and the addition of new filters, which made my property search even more efficient. The support team is responsive and helpful, with a dedicated help section within the app that addresses common queries. I reached out once with a question about a listing, and I received a prompt and informative response, which further solidified my trust in the platform.
As a user concerned about security and privacy, I was pleased to find that Zoopla takes these issues seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. When registering, I was only required to provide basic personal information, which is a relief compared to other apps that demand extensive data. Zoopla does display ads, but they are relevant to the property market and do not feel intrusive. Additionally, I did not notice any excessive tracking behavior, which is a significant plus for users who value their privacy. Overall, I felt secure using the app, knowing that my data was handled responsibly.

Used to be the best but the recent change to filters is terrible. I am only interested in homes with a double garage, you used to be able to set that as a parameter. Now you have to set it as an 'ideal feature' but it will still populate the search results with properties don't meet the requirement and so is now pointless rubbish.

Still the clunkiest app. Always logs me out so every time I want to access it I have to deal with ridiculous logins. You still have not figured out biometrics? Further, searching price houses, how impractical to have zero sorting options. Just left to scroll for ages to get to the result I need. I needs basic filters especially dates sold.

Very useful. Wide range of searches that can be done and is user-friendly. Has become unstable. If you leave this app for a few seconds, when you go back to it, it resets back to its home page, meaning a new search must be done. You'd be better off, and less stressed, using Right Move. Update - this app is infuriating. you can't leave it to check other apps, because if you do Zoopla resets itself and you lose the search you were just on. very. very poor. Did you people not test your own app??

loved the app for years. rented from them as they are the best. Since the last update though it has gone really bad. I'm pretty sure i'm having a technical issue as it doesn't matter what filter i apply to the research it won't show a single property and it's frustrating.

I needed to install this app in order to request that Zoopla delete my account, as you can't do that on their website, and their "contact us" links takes you to a chat bot that doesn't do anything. And the result in the app? It sends an email... to which you then get a response saying "have you tried doing this..." and pointing you back to the app. Seriously- 2026 and they still don't take GDPR seriously!
