4.8 As a busy parent juggling work and family responsibilities, I often find myself racing against the clock to get groceries while staying within budget. Flipp has become my go-to app for grocery shopping. Every Sunday, I sit down with my family to plan our meals for the week. I open Flipp and browse through the weekly ads from our local grocery stores. This helps me identify the best deals on the ingredients we need, ensuring that I can stick to our budget while still providing healthy meals for my family.
Another scenario where Flipp shines is during holiday preparations. Last Thanksgiving, I used the app to plan our feast. I created a shopping list for all the traditional dishes we wanted to make, and Flipp highlighted the stores with the best prices for turkey, stuffing, and all the fixings. It made the usually stressful holiday shopping a breeze!
The user interface of Flipp is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a clean layout that showcases the latest deals and ads. Navigating through the app is seamless; I can easily switch between the weekly ads, my shopping list, and the coupon section without any hiccups. The search function is particularly useful, allowing me to quickly find specific items or brands.
In terms of performance, Flipp runs smoothly on my device. I’ve never experienced any lag or crashes, which is crucial when I’m in a hurry at the store. The app’s ability to sync my shopping list with the deals available is a game-changer. I can check off items as I shop, ensuring I don’t miss anything while also keeping track of my budget. Overall, my experience with Flipp has been overwhelmingly positive, making grocery shopping less of a chore and more of a strategic game.
Flipp is free to download and use, which is a significant advantage for budget-conscious shoppers like myself. While the app does offer premium features, the core functionalities—such as accessing weekly ads, digital coupons, and creating shopping lists—are available at no cost. This makes it accessible for anyone looking to save money on groceries without any financial commitment.
The Flipp app is regularly updated, which is evident in the new features and improvements I’ve noticed over time. The developers seem committed to enhancing user experience, as they often roll out updates that fix bugs and introduce new functionalities. Customer support is also commendable; I once had a question about a coupon, and their response was prompt and helpful. It’s reassuring to know that there’s a reliable support system in place should I encounter any issues.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that deals with personal data and shopping habits. Flipp is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility as these platforms have strict guidelines for app security.
When registering for Flipp, I was required to provide minimal personal information, which is a relief. The app primarily uses my location to offer personalized deals and store recommendations, but I appreciate that it doesn’t ask for excessive data that could compromise my privacy. Additionally, Flipp does display ads, but they are relevant to my shopping preferences, and I haven’t noticed any intrusive tracking behavior that would raise concerns.
Overall, Flipp strikes a good balance between functionality and user privacy, making it a trustworthy companion for anyone looking to save on grocery shopping while keeping their personal information secure.

Have always loved, BUT NOW I CAN'T SEE MY OWN LIST OR ADD TO IT. This has been the case for the at least the last two updates. I have told so many people about the wonders and convenience of this app, so I really hope the issues are fixed. Also, a couple of local grocery stores I normally see aren't showing up. Not sure if it's them not participating in FLIPP anymore or if there is another issue. I have been using this app for at least a decade.

Generally has all of the flyers that I'm looking for. I don't like that they push unrelated "featured flyers" to the top of search results. It is also Notifications Hell. You can either disable them completely, or get spammed to kingdom come just to get notified when an item on your watch list goes on sale. There is no in-between.

This app is a godsend when planning shopping trips. All of the stores that we use are included. We can add things to our shopping list directly from the flyers. We can use the list feature to create general shopping lists. Because of being able to use the flyers, we can see what is on sale where. Our household use to be able to sync this app. It was very useful for all of us to be able to add shopping items. at some point, the ability to sync was removed. We sorely miss this feature.

App needs major overhaul. when you choose just the stores you shop at - nothing appears. all screens are blank. which is a major flaw & makes app non revelant. You basically have to choose all stores then waste time looking for the sales at your favorite stores. which can be done easier by reading the weekly ads which arrive in the mailbox. upgrade is needed

I don't get the point of the app. most of the stores that have weekly ads already have their own apps or websites to look at the deals and you have to use their app to clip coupons anyway. the only thing this app does is show you what store added a new flyer the most recently, but normal people will just check the ads before they go shopping already
