Decided to give this app another try after a couple of years. If you're looking for an app that focuses on war and politics 98% of the time, you'll really like Ground News. Unfortunately, for me, I like much more variety. I played with the settings and topics and hoped the app's algorithm would catch up, but still nothing but war and politics. So it's time to uninstall and move on.

Does nothing it was advertised to. Makes finding articles harder, and information about specific topics almost impossible. I thought this would have all the normal news stories and just show the biases and ownership, ect. It doesn't. You have to search for EVERYTHING, and the search engine sucks. If you're looking for information about a specific topic you only get articles about aa few of the key terms. It's AI cesspool at its finest and I have major suspicions about how it got a 4 star review

Definitely an app that keeps you grounded in both: far left like CNN and far right like Fox News within a middle ground (no pun intended), it's like any other news resource that provides information to others in day-to-day life. It's news worth checking out! Definitely worth the read in my daily mundane life where I can check up on what's happening and more. The only things I wouldn't do is pay $40.00 a year just to read all the news nor do the free trial but minus that, I recommend this app.

Downgraded. Widget not working! Other than that, it is a solid news app. No nonsense Hollywood news clogging up the alerts. Very well laid out, customizable and has articles from multiple outlets for different perspectives. Keep up the great work. No need for another app. There is also a desktop web version that syncs with your account. Fantastic! 😊

it has so much potential, but just like other news aggregators they just kill it by their efforts to lock everything down. I'm constantly running into pages that won't load properly in the app, but there's no option to open a page in an external browser (so I can actually watch a video or read a full article)... and they won't let you share links that work for people that don't have ground news subscriptions. If that's not added soon I'm canceling my subscription
