The user interface of the "Reuters - Breaking World News" app is sleek and intuitive. Navigating through different sections is a breeze, and I appreciate how articles are categorized by topic. The feature workflow is smooth; I can easily switch from breaking news alerts to in-depth analyses with just a few taps. Reuters regularly updates the app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I’ve noticed improvements in the app’s performance and additional customization options over time. Customer support is also commendable; I once had a minor issue with notifications, and the support team responded promptly with a solution. This level of attention to user feedback reassures me that the developers are committed to providing a top-notch news experience.

Won't show my story because I'm suddenly not signed in, again. So I go through the trouble of signing in, again, despite being a paid customer, I'm given more trouble than non-paying readers. Once I'm signed in, it takes me to the home page, and not the page I was viewing, so now I have more steps to go back and find my page again! Why am I paying you? Fix your app!

If I could enable a setting that only allowed push notifications for unlocked content, I would not be deleting this app today. It's not the subscription locked articles, because that's fair. It's that most of the push notifications lead to a demand to subscribe. "Here, you should read this article that sounds super interesting ... but now that you are here, pay me." Even a dang padlock in the push notification (no need to click. just a visual clue that it's paid content) would be acceptable.

It basically doesn't work for subscribers. Any attempt to login results in a failed to fetch error. Sloppy work. The back button is also broken. If you want to continue down the feed after clicking into a story, you're taken to the top of the feed again. One has to uninstall it to use the web site because they insist on having one use their broken app on Android. So don't install this. It will make it more difficult to access the site.

Reuters is good and my preferred news source. The App is good most of the time, but occasionally gets stuck where it tells me I need to sign in (already signed in, already paid subscriber). If I close it and reopen it, it goes back to normal for a while then randomly does it again. Sometimes this will happen multiple times a day for multiple days in a row. I've contacted support and they brushed me off. Would give the app 5 stars but I'm rating this while annoyed by that again.

News content is good, but the display is not. Graphs are cropped left and right to fit the text column, whether portrait or landscape, so you can't read the axes. Clicking on them doesn't do anything, so no full view there. The headlines are very large and shouty compared with normal text, and there are no controls for this in settings. In fact the preferences section has only 3 controls: light/dark, hide images or autoplay video. Search is appalling and has been for years. And now pay only?
