4.5 Poshmark is not just another shopping app; it’s a vibrant community where fashion enthusiasts can buy and sell pre-loved items. Here are some of the standout features that make Poshmark a must-have for anyone looking to refresh their wardrobe or declutter their closet:
As someone who loves fashion but is also conscious of sustainability, I often turn to Poshmark in various scenarios. For instance, during spring cleaning, I decided to declutter my closet. I used the app to list several items I no longer wore, including a few trendy jackets and shoes. The process was quick and enjoyable, and I felt a sense of accomplishment as I watched my closet space free up.
Additionally, I frequently use Poshmark when I’m looking for specific items for upcoming events. Recently, I had a wedding to attend and needed a dress. Instead of hitting the mall, I opened Poshmark and browsed through countless options. I found a beautiful, gently-used dress that was not only stylish but also budget-friendly.
The user interface of Poshmark is intuitive and visually appealing. The app is well-organized, making it easy to navigate through different categories and listings. I appreciate the clean layout, which allows me to focus on the items rather than getting lost in clutter. The feature workflow is smooth; uploading a listing takes just a few minutes, and I love how I can easily share my listings to my followers with a single tap.
Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any significant lag, even when I’m scrolling through numerous listings. I’ve had a few minor glitches, but they were quickly resolved with updates. Overall, my experience with Poshmark has been overwhelmingly positive, and I find myself returning to the app regularly, both to shop and to sell.
Poshmark operates on a commission-based model. When you sell an item, Poshmark takes a flat fee of $2.95 for sales under $15, and 20% for sales over $15. While some may find this a bit steep, I believe the convenience and exposure the platform provides make it worth the cost. Plus, the ability to sell items quickly offsets the fees for me.
Poshmark frequently updates its app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I’ve noticed improvements in the search functionality and the addition of new social features that keep the community engaged. Customer support is also commendable; I had a question about a transaction once, and their response was prompt and helpful. The support team is accessible through the app, making it easy to get assistance when needed.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any online platform, and Poshmark does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications.
When registering, Poshmark requires basic personal information, including your name, email address, and shipping address. I appreciate that they don’t ask for overly sensitive information, which helps me feel secure. Additionally, Poshmark has a robust privacy policy that outlines how they handle user data, which is reassuring.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, Poshmark does use targeted advertising, but I haven’t found it intrusive. The app tracks my preferences to suggest items I might like, which enhances my shopping experience without feeling overly invasive. Overall, I feel safe using Poshmark, knowing that my personal information is handled with care.

It's annoying that there is no push notification option for just your sales and offers. The app is pretty unfriendly to sellers, but good for buyers. Edit: Push notifications options STILL don't include anything useful even though there are dozens of options. And it's been glitching out on the buying end, too. So minus one more star. They added some decent selling features, but the app is really glitchy.

my goodness, this update is brutal in so many ways. so difficult to search & find what you want now. my least favorite part is clicking into an item & once you go back out to the search results it scrolls all the way back to the top again..... every.....single.....time. can't change your "following list" by recent - default is alphabetically & I can't remember every name I followed - need the ability to sort by most recent!

Do Not Like the New version. They basically completely revamped it without warning and not for the better. No longer easy to navigate and find things. I used to be able to click on my favorite brands for shopping and it was a quick tap, now I have to find the brand I want through search. I don't like this new. They changed all the buttons and I don't find it very user friendly. I am in my 40s, so its not like technology is completely foreign to me either.

I'm uninstalling. I have a $10 credit in my balance that I cannot use. When I tried to purchase something, I was prompted to sign up for shopsmarter to actually use the $10 credit. I don't want to because shopsmarter seems suspicious. Plus I don't know why I should have to do that to use POSHMARK credit. I did not sign up. The order went though without using the $10 credit. Leaving 2 stars because at least I was allowed to cancel the order quickly. That's the only good thing about this app.

I have used this app once to make a purchase, and decided that I will finally use it to sale some things, just to find out somehow for no reason at all my account has been locked. I had to reach customers service several times for the last 6 months, just to get that information, and when I asked why was I locked out if I have only use the app once, they never responded again. Don't waste your time with this app. you're better off with Facebook marketplace.
