4.2 As a beauty enthusiast, I often find myself reaching for the Sephora app in various scenarios throughout my day. For instance, during my lunch break at work, I might scroll through the app to catch up on the latest product launches or read reviews on a new serum I’ve been eyeing. On weekends, I use the app to create a shopping list for my beauty haul, ensuring I don’t forget any must-have items. Additionally, when I’m getting ready for a night out, I love using the virtual try-on feature to experiment with different makeup looks without the mess of actual products.
The user interface of the Sephora app is sleek and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. The home screen is well-organized, showcasing featured products, promotions, and personalized recommendations. I appreciate how quickly I can find what I’m looking for, whether it’s a specific product or a category like skincare or fragrance. The app’s performance is impressive; it loads quickly, and I’ve never experienced any crashes or lag. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as the app not only meets my shopping needs but also enhances my beauty journey with its engaging features.
Sephora offers a range of products at various price points, catering to both budget-conscious shoppers and those looking to splurge. The app frequently features sales and promotions, allowing users to snag their favorite items at discounted prices. Additionally, the Beauty Insider program provides opportunities to earn points on purchases, which can be redeemed for exclusive rewards, making the overall shopping experience feel even more valuable.
The Sephora app is regularly updated, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and improvements. I’ve noticed enhancements in the virtual try-on tool and the overall speed of the app with each update. Customer support is readily available through the app, with options for live chat and email assistance. I once had a question about a product, and the support team responded promptly, which left me feeling valued as a customer.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Sephora takes these concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards. When registering, users are required to provide personal data such as name, email, and payment information, which is securely stored. I appreciate that Sephora has a clear privacy policy outlining how my data is used and protected.
While using the app, I’ve noticed some targeted ads based on my browsing history, which is common in many shopping apps. However, I feel comfortable knowing that I can manage my privacy settings within the app. Overall, Sephora strikes a good balance between providing a personalized shopping experience and respecting user privacy.

I don't know what they changed on the back end but for months now I've been experiencing constant glitches and errors. I'm constantly getting logged out. If I try to view past purchases to reorder, it says every single item is unavailable at this time. If I try to leave a review, it just says sorry something went wrong. The most recent error was a glitch during check out so I couldn't place and order. Absolutely maddening issues.

To say I despise this app is an understatement. Sephora is a billion dollar company and cant invest in their app? I have a credit card with them, I avoid using it as much as possible and will opt for another one of my credits cards. Paying my credit card is always a hassle, I have to reset my password everytime I log in and I mean everytime! Many times the payment link is down, so there's the option to pay without logging in and that doesn't work, deleting that app doesnt work.

Edit: The app has really been ruined now. No dashboard, no menus?! Just a shopping basket and favorites? How do I see my purchases? My points? How much I have to spend to keep Rouge? Offers? Rewards? Birthday Rewards? IT SUCKS NOW. ***** To whoever runs the site—it really sucks when you end the sale prices for things early. Maybe just advertise the sales ending at 11:59 EST??? If I have to scramble to pick new items at the last minute, I just won't complete my purchase.

I don't know what's going on but the app won't allow me to type on the credit card page. the sign in screen will come up but none of the areas can be clicked on to fill in. I know this is a sephora issue because the same company/app handles 2 other cards i have and there was no issues for them. I've tried logging out and back in. Fully uninstalling the app. still nothing. This has forced me to use the less secure automated system, since I'm not close to a physical store, to pay my bill.

What's with all the issues?! It has my store wrong, but when I try to change it, it says there is an error. if I try to favorite a brand, it makes me log in again when I should already be logged in! and when I go do it anyway, it tells me there is an error doing said command. I loved my first purchase on there, had no issues with purchasing and them being delivered. but with all this happening now, it makes me a bit wary on doing any shopping on the app.
