4.6 The "Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save" app is a powerful tool for anyone looking to streamline their travel experience. With its user-friendly interface and a plethora of features, it makes booking flights and managing travel plans a breeze. Here are some of the core features that stand out:
As someone who travels frequently for both work and leisure, the "Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save" app has become an essential part of my travel routine. I often find myself using the app to book last-minute flights for business meetings or spontaneous weekend trips. Just last month, I had to attend a conference in Vienna. I opened the app during my lunch break, quickly searched for flights, and booked a round trip in under ten minutes. The convenience of having everything in one place is a game-changer for my busy lifestyle.
The user interface of the Wizz Air app is sleek and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean layout that allows me to search for flights immediately. The workflow is straightforward; I simply enter my departure and arrival cities, select my travel dates, and the app presents me with a list of available flights. I appreciate the filtering options that let me sort flights by price, duration, and departure time. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any lag, which is crucial when I’m in a hurry. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel confident using the app for all my travel needs.
Wizz Air is known for its budget-friendly pricing, and the app reflects this ethos. The base fare for flights is often lower than many competitors, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. While there are additional fees for extras like checked baggage and seat selection, the overall pricing structure remains competitive. I’ve found that by booking in advance and keeping an eye on special promotions through the app, I can save a significant amount on my travel expenses.
The app is regularly updated, which is a significant plus. I’ve noticed improvements in speed and functionality with each update, enhancing my overall experience. Customer support is also readily available through the app, with options for live chat and email support. On one occasion, I had a question about my booking, and the support team responded promptly, resolving my issue quickly. This level of support gives me peace of mind when using the app for my travel plans.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that handles personal and financial information. The "Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save" app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, including my name, email address, and payment details. The app uses encryption to protect this data, which is reassuring.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, I have not noticed any intrusive advertisements while using the app. It appears that Wizz Air focuses on providing a seamless user experience rather than bombarding users with ads. However, like many apps, it does track user behavior to personalize offers and improve services. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my information is handled with care.

Took away my boarding pass between security and flight. I checked in days before my flight, got the boarding pass in the app, went through security after scanning the boarding pass, and when it was time to board the flight, the app took away the boarding pass and told me check-in closes three hours before the flight. I caused a 15m delay for boarding the flight for everyone because I didn't have a boarding pass anymore. Should have taken a screenshot or saved it to Google Wallet. Hate this app.

This is the worst airline I've ever flown with and the app is no different. Hidden fees are everywhere, even when you're careful to avoid them. Departure times are highly unreliable. They don't tell you your departure gate until just before the flight, so you're just hoping you're in the correct terminal while you wait for your gate to be announced. Every aspect of this is confusing, expensive, and ultimately very frustrating... even for experienced travelers.

I created a sign-in & password and linked my flight confirmation. It worked for a few weeks. Then the login & the flight confirmation stopped working. I tried customer support and got an AI. It suggested that I might not have a confirmed booking. So I downloaded the app. It worked for another 2 weeks. I even added luggage. The day before the flight I tried checking in online and got a message that my device isn't online! I uninstalled the app and downloaded it again. Now I couldn't even sign in!

Extremely poor experience with the app. Trying to book a flight and getting since morning a message that "There seems to be internet connection on your appliance". Immediately after using Wizzair app, without switching networks or anything, I open Ryanair app - and its flying! Everything is found in a matter of seconds! And I am not mentioning how they manipulate prices...

this app does not work. It does not allow you to login. I can log in without issues on the web browser but the app says my username and password do not match on the app. I have locked my account a few times and had to reset my password because of this. the app also automatically log you out when switching between screens. very frustrating. the airline is OK, the app is horrible.
