It was beautiful, initially. I loved their prayers based on my input. However, I found the notifications to be problematic. The screen remains lit until I turn it off. If I am sleep and miss a notification, that screen remains lit until.... There have been times I've awakened to a very hot phone, and battery practically drained. I didn't want to delete the app, but there must be a way for you to give the notification and leave without holding that position in limbo.

I really like this app. I like the reminders & I love the ability to type what I am feeling & get a scripture based response that does not feel generic. My dislikes are: the ads, but it could be worse. Mostly they are short ads for Hallow & for games. My #1 dislike is that if you get behind & delay your evening interaction, once midnight strikes you can't go back. It bothers me if I am in a multi-day streak & it starts over at zero, plus I am missing that night's verse. This needs addressed.

This is a great app!! Great for devotions, verses, consistent prayers based off of your journal that you write in the evening, and lastly that's another thing. You get to write a journal in the evening. you also can pick your time that you want to be reminded to do the morning verse, the midday gratitude, and the evening journal. and there are ads but the ads aren't that bad. like some maps are.

I have had this APP for about 2 weeks. I am disappointed so far. Not that I need streaks to justify my faith, but when you include it, it's nice to see progress. However, when the evening activity rarely records & the next day it doesn't show up... it is disappointing. I get it, ADS are part of the free side, but a couple of the ads, OY!.., I can't see areason for the being included on a Christian platform! I will be removing the Simple Bible app. Sad!

Developer needs to remember that the three daily reminders are full screen, bright reminders. My "Simple" request would be to put in the settings the option to have the reminders display in dark mode black amoled, with added slider to dim it to the light level we want to it to display at. I love this app but if I put my phone down and come back to it, it has drained my battery down to almost zero with its bright and white screen reminders.
