Constantly telling me when I try to open the app that I have no Internet connection when in fact I do have 1 which works fine for any other app/website access. Reinstalling, cache clearing, or force stoping doesn't fix the issue and others are having the same problem. The strange thing is that when this happens, the live section will load and work but nothing else so no top stories, videos, ect. Does same thing on data. Your CANNED email suggestion reply was useless, tips don't work.

Like many news apps, every article is death and destruction, or scandal and celebrity shaming. Where is the good news?? Also, the app contains too many ads and links to unrelated stuff, like puzzle apps?? What's that about? If Sky News creates a page JUST for good news - I'll reinstall the app. Otherwise, the news is just too depressing!

I quite like the Sky News app, it gives an alternative take on events, but I never watch videos they post because of the ads they put in front of said videos 99% of the time. Unfortunately I have a zero ads policy in life, ads come on TV I switch over and may switch back again after they've run, so in applying that to this app, I skip the videos at all times. Putting ads in front of what are sometimes very serious events is also pretty crass to be fair.

I would give the app 5 if it didn't have adverts. I have now lowered my rating to 2 because of the adverts. I pay £87 a month for sky TV and £37 a month for broadband, as a result I think I should be able to use the Sky news app without any adds at all. It's so frustrating having to watch a 30 second advert that has no relevance or interest to me before I can watch a video related to a news article. Also when you finally do get to watch the video, the screen goes really dark for a few seconds.

Too many videos! I know sky is a TV news channel but recently every article is a video rather than text. I usually use my news apps during lunch or breaks, there are often other people around who don't want to listen to me having to watch a video on the app, bring back more written articles so that I can read them and not disturb other people. Also there's too much focus on US affairs and not enough UK or local stories. I am seriously close to uninstalling this app.
