1.8 As a college student juggling multiple classes, I rely heavily on Schoology for my daily academic activities. Each morning, I open the app to check for any new announcements from my professors. This is particularly useful during exam weeks when updates can come in fast and furious. I also use the app to submit assignments; for example, last week I had a paper due, and I was able to upload it directly from my phone while waiting for my coffee. The convenience of having everything in one place has made my academic life much more manageable.
The user interface of Schoology is intuitive and visually appealing. Navigating through the app feels seamless, with a clean layout that makes it easy to find what I need. The dashboard provides a quick overview of my courses, upcoming assignments, and notifications, which I find incredibly helpful. The performance is generally smooth, with minimal lag, even when I’m accessing multimedia content. Overall, my experience has been positive; I feel empowered to take charge of my learning, thanks to the app's user-friendly design and robust features.
Schoology offers a free version that is quite comprehensive, making it accessible for students and educators alike. However, for institutions looking for advanced features, there are premium plans available. These plans provide additional tools and analytics that can enhance the learning experience. I appreciate that the free version is sufficient for my needs, allowing me to focus on my studies without worrying about costs.
The support provided by Schoology is commendable. They regularly update the app to fix bugs and introduce new features based on user feedback. I’ve encountered a few minor issues, but the customer support team was quick to respond and resolve them. Additionally, the app’s help center is filled with resources, including tutorials and FAQs, which I found useful when I was learning to navigate the platform.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using educational apps like Schoology. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During registration, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, which is standard for educational platforms. I appreciate that Schoology does not bombard users with ads, and I have not noticed any intrusive tracking behavior while using the app. This focus on user privacy makes me feel more secure as I engage with my educational content.

I have absolutely no idea what happened with this app, but as others have said, there are sudden issues that have appeared. You can no longer scroll down; any SLIGHT movement to the left or right results in the tabs switching. I also can't even access my courses because tapping them just... doesn't work anymore, so the app is essentially useless and just there to take up space. I hope this gets fixed soon. Hopefully, you'll see the 1.8 stars (currently) and fix this.

Completely and utterly incapable of loading any assignments. The schoology app is only useful for brief glances at upcoming assignments. You are much better off just going to the website using a browser! Additionally, the mobile app loses some of the utilities as the website version, ex. you are unable to see members in your courses unlike on the website. Way too many errors pop up for no reason. Edit: I forgot to mention that even the faintest swipe left or right will switch tabs. It's so bad

Has less than half the capability of the web version, and the formatting is awful. You can't even do your assignments unless it's a one part submission (no discussion posts.) I can distantly remember struggling through a multiple choice quiz when I forgot my chromebook on vacation once, and luckily, I could still complete it. Barely, though. Pretty much all it can reliably do is show you what assignments you need to complete. I would strongly recommend just opening your browser.

This app has never been great, but it's really gone downhill lately. It's almost impossible to even scroll down and I don't see a search function so getting anywhere takes FOREVER. I also can't believe they've never fixed notifications (they appear but when you click on them they just disappear rather than taking you to the relevant data in the app). People depend on this app to coordinate education and services for their children. Please fix it!

I'm using this on Android and app interface is filled with bugs. Half the time, I can't view the top posts or who they're from on the recent activities. The bar across the top and posts glitch on and off as I scroll. I cannot view the description and attached files for assignments. On the bright side, I can view course materials just fine. You're better off doing it from a computer your phone's browser.
