4.6 In my daily life, I often find myself reaching for the Skoove app during my lunch breaks or quiet evenings at home. One particular scenario that stands out is when I had a few friends over for dinner. After the meal, I decided to showcase my newfound skills. I pulled out my keyboard and opened Skoove, selecting a fun pop song that I had been practicing. The app guided me through the piece, and my friends were genuinely impressed. It was a great way to share my progress and enjoy a fun evening together.
The user interface of Skoove is clean and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a friendly dashboard that displayed my current lessons and progress. The workflow is seamless; I can easily switch between lessons, access the song library, and track my progress without any hiccups. The performance of the app is commendable as well; it runs smoothly without any lag, even when I’m playing complex pieces. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The combination of engaging lessons and real-time feedback has made learning the piano enjoyable and rewarding.
Skoove offers a free trial that allows users to explore its features before committing. After the trial, the subscription plans are reasonably priced, with options for monthly, yearly, or lifetime access. I opted for the yearly plan, which provides significant savings compared to the monthly subscription. Given the quality of the content and the personalized learning experience, I believe it’s worth every penny.
The Skoove team is proactive in providing updates and improvements to the app. I’ve noticed new songs and features being added regularly, which keeps the content fresh and engaging. Additionally, their customer support is responsive and helpful. I had a minor issue with my account, and the support team resolved it quickly, ensuring I could get back to my practice without any delays.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Skoove does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards. During registration, I was only required to provide basic personal information, which is a relief compared to many other apps that ask for excessive data.
Importantly, Skoove does not bombard users with ads, which enhances the overall experience. I appreciate that the app focuses on learning rather than tracking behavior for advertising purposes. This commitment to user privacy makes me feel secure while using the app, allowing me to focus solely on my piano practice without distractions.

AI "Customer service" means "the Customer is less important than my profit" I was happy to pay for an annual subscription, but when I did, I could not login to the app with the password and email that I set the account up with. "Reset my password" never sent an email, so I reached out to support, which is a stupid AI bot, rather than a human, and of course the problem wasn't resolved, but AI was right there with a list a stupid suggestions that didn't work. No thank you.

The lessons themselves are great but the app has been buggy for me. two main issues: 1) App freezes whenever it puts me into a lesson where I can manually move the score around and see hand placements 2) The app is mis-scoring me on some notes when I'm learning a song, which is extremely frustrating. it is jumping a note ahead while I'm still playing a previous note, with no apparent reason

Quick and easy to set up and get started! I was worried how it would be on my little Android phone, since the video demos I had watched were all on tablets, but it seems to be fine! I made it through the first lesson, and now can play a simplified version of Ode To Joy! I love how it listens to you, and provides feedback. Far better than learning from a book, and not knowing if you're actually hitting the right keys!

Problem Fixed! Songs would not load at all, so I wrote a negative review last month. That prompted a nearly instant reply from customer service to reach out, and offer to help fix it. Turned out to be a simple settings problem! Skoove now works great! Thanks so much to Shingo! Amazing customer service! Don't give up on it if you're having technical difficulties, contact them, they'll help you fix it!!

It's frustrating sometimes when I play the right note at full volume on my keyboard and it says It can't hear it or I played the wrong key. Then it forces you to do the practice level without the music. Sometimes it will pick up voices and mistake it for a note being played but I don't think anything can be done about that. Other than that it works perfectly fine and is easy to navigate.
