4.5 Dayforce is a comprehensive workforce management solution that stands out for its robust features designed to streamline HR processes. Here are some of the core highlights that make Dayforce a go-to app for businesses and employees alike:
As a part-time employee at a retail store, I rely heavily on Dayforce for various tasks throughout my workweek. Every morning, I check the app to confirm my shift schedule, which is often updated based on staffing needs. Additionally, when I need to request time off for personal commitments, I can do so directly through the app without having to fill out any paper forms. This has been a game-changer for me, especially during busy periods when I need to plan my time effectively.
The user interface of Dayforce is intuitive and user-friendly, making navigation a breeze. Upon logging in, I am greeted with a clean dashboard that displays my upcoming shifts, hours worked, and any pending requests. The workflow for submitting time-off requests is straightforward; I simply select the dates I need off, and the app automatically checks for any scheduling conflicts. Performance-wise, Dayforce runs smoothly without any noticeable lag, even during peak usage times. Overall, my experience has been positive, as the app has significantly reduced the time I spend managing my work-related tasks.
Dayforce offers a variety of pricing plans tailored to different business sizes and needs. While specific pricing details can vary, the app typically operates on a subscription model, which can be a cost-effective solution for businesses looking to streamline their HR processes. For individual users, the app is free to download, but access to certain features may depend on the employer's subscription plan.
Dayforce is regularly updated to enhance functionality and security, which is reassuring for users like me. The support team is responsive and helpful; I once encountered a minor issue with my login credentials, and their customer service resolved it quickly. Additionally, the app provides in-app tutorials and FAQs, making it easy to find answers to common questions without needing to contact support.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app that handles personal information. Dayforce is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the security standards set by these platforms. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name, email, and phone number, which is standard for workforce management apps.
Importantly, Dayforce does not bombard users with ads, which is a relief. Instead, the app focuses on providing a seamless user experience without unnecessary distractions. Regarding tracking behavior, Dayforce is transparent about its data usage policies, ensuring that my information is protected and used solely for the intended purposes of workforce management. Overall, I feel secure using Dayforce, knowing that my personal data is handled with care.

Update: 3 years later this is still an issue. It constantly fails to load. 2x a month I have to delete and reinstall. If you want people to use it for their workplace, maybe you should create an app which works. Complete waste of time and energy. You can only login without problems every 5th time. It would be a lot better if you could actually OPEN it.

The app is down far too often. And what's with all the security? is my work schedule, as a part time package handler, so sensitive that AFTER I verify with biometrics? I need to get a text message? The app is a joke. It should not need any security to login. And the fact it's always down is the reason I'm one step from being fired for not showing up on time when my schedule is constantly being changed by my employer.

App is 'meh' at best. It features some functionality (schedules, time off requests), but the login system is awkward and refuses to save my information, so I'm constantly having to log back in and go through 2FA on their website. I've never seen such a backward login system in an app. There are a number of necessary functions, such as benefits and the entire "Performance" menu, that are not available on the app, and can only be accessed by logging in on the website.

Worse app ever. forces me to do the two factor verification, despite the remember me feature, every other day or so (randomly). my coworkers and myself often experience glitches, being kicked out due to an error in the app, and notifying us we are not within the clock in radius of the building - even when we are in the building itself. So, yeah, I wouldn't recommend this app.

For the past several days, there's been an error preventing me from logging in. I need to get my schedule to plan what I need to get done this month, so this is unacceptable. Even when it was working, the way it would constantly log me out and make me go through the two step authentication to log in again after just a few minutes was a huge unnecessary hassle. Please change it back to the way it was.
