4.6 When it comes to driving and delivering with Uber, the "Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver" app is packed with features that make the experience seamless and efficient. Here are some of the core highlights that stand out:
As a regular user of the "Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver" app, I often find myself in various scenarios that highlight its practicality. For instance, on weekends, I typically drive in the evenings when demand is high. I remember one Saturday night when I decided to hit the road around 8 PM. The app notified me of a surge pricing in my area, which meant I could earn more per ride. I quickly accepted a ride request and was on my way to pick up a passenger. The app's navigation guided me through the quickest route, and I was able to drop them off in record time, earning a nice bonus for my efforts.
Another scenario that stands out is when I used the delivery feature during the weekdays. I had some free time between meetings, so I logged into the app to deliver food. The process was straightforward; I received an order, picked it up from a local restaurant, and delivered it to the customer. The app kept me updated on the order status, and I appreciated how easy it was to switch between driving and delivering based on my availability.
The user interface of the "Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver" app is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean layout that makes it easy to navigate through different sections. The dashboard displays my current status, earnings, and any ride requests. I particularly enjoy the simplicity of accepting or declining rides with just a tap. The app's performance is generally smooth, with minimal lag, even during peak hours when demand is high.
One feature that enhances the user experience is the in-app notifications. I receive timely alerts about ride requests, earnings updates, and even tips on how to improve my driving score. This feedback loop keeps me engaged and motivated to provide better service. Overall, my feelings after using the app are overwhelmingly positive; it has made driving for Uber a rewarding experience both financially and personally.
As a driver, the pricing structure of the "Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver" app is transparent and straightforward. Uber takes a percentage of each fare, which varies depending on the city and type of service. While some may find the commission a bit steep, I appreciate that I can see exactly how much I earn after each ride. Additionally, there are opportunities for bonuses during peak hours, which can significantly boost my earnings. Overall, I feel that the pricing is fair given the flexibility and support provided by the platform.
Uber frequently updates the "Driver: Drive & Deliver" app to enhance functionality and address any issues. I’ve noticed improvements in navigation and the addition of new features that make driving easier. The support system is also commendable; I once had a question about a payment discrepancy, and the support team responded promptly through the app's help section. They provided clear guidance, which made resolving the issue hassle-free. This level of support gives me confidence in using the app regularly.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using apps like "Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver." The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards. During the registration process, I was required to provide personal information, including my name, phone number, and driver's license details. This information is crucial for verifying my identity and ensuring passenger safety.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I appreciate that Uber is transparent about its data usage policies. The app does collect data to improve user experience and provide personalized services, but I have not encountered intrusive ads while using it. I feel secure knowing that my data is handled responsibly, and I can manage my privacy settings within the app. Overall, the security measures in place make me feel safe while driving and delivering with Uber.

Constant updates but not a single improvement!! GPS tells me to make turns into a one way street (oncoming traffic) and places with "no turns" signs. I can no longer see the destination until I'm on the street so I can't get a heads up instead of passing it. The acceptance rate: We shouldn't be penalized for declined trips/ deliveries that we didn't pysically decline. If we let the timer run out it shouldn't count. A lot of time we're driving and it's hard to read the small print and drive.

The app has an issue with reading enhanced ID's, the order system has a hard time handling multiple orders at once especially when shopping. Support is very obviously reading from a step by step list which becomes more apparent when I am on the phone with them every other day. If the problem could be resolved by restarting the app I wouldn't have called

The app is very outdated and MANY features do not work properly or are useless and in the way. Also, the app doesn't always pay the driver for wait-time during trips with multiple stops. when trying to get help with this issue, support just sends an article stating that wait time doesn't apply at hospitals and airports. I've never had a multiple stop trip at a hospital or airport. so we're just being scammed.

This app needs to be updated and fixed. I've been flagged multiple times for suspicious activity, and now my account is messed up! I'm not doing anything wrong! My payment edit was paused when Support suggested I edit my bank stuff due to suspicious activities. I can no longer cash out because my debit card got removed from the account before it was paused. The app won't let me log in on my secondary device. I can only log in on my main one that I don't like using for Uber! I ran out of space🤬

The people who use this app do not pay enough for the trips they want me to take. I am not about to go deliver your food 15 miles away after waiting for your food for 25 minutes just to be paid $3.50. That's not how this works. Your app is also too loud, restricts how I use my phone when I'm on your app, the map requires CONSTANT manhandling (which is illegal btw), and doesn't allow for the level of control over the app that I would expect from a company that actually cares about it's people.
