Application Scenarios

As a gig driver, I often find myself using the Spark Driver app in various scenarios throughout my day. One typical morning, I woke up early to get a head start on my deliveries. I opened the app and was greeted with a list of available orders. I quickly accepted a delivery for a customer who needed groceries delivered before noon. The app’s real-time order management feature allowed me to see the details of the order, including the pickup location and the customer’s address, all in one place.

Later in the day, I had a few hours free, so I decided to log back into the app. I appreciated the flexible scheduling feature, which allowed me to jump back into work without any hassle. I accepted another order, and the in-app navigation guided me seamlessly to the store and then to the customer’s home. Don't get into Spark now. When it first started it was great. Pay was good compared to other gig apps, miles weren't bad, incentives were nice, and you didn't shop. Now the pay sucks, too many drivers saturate the market, miles can go up to 30+ for a single delivery, incentives are now $3 for 12 trips, and you shop up to 3 orders at a time. Not worth it anymore. Also tons of app issues always. Small tech team so it takes them a while.

App doesn't work right half the time. When it does, it doesn't consider when it had an order 30 miles away for gas usage or the fact you are so far away from the Walmart you are working out of that the time it takes to get back when you take another order, so it says your late. stupid tier to get benefits from the app. Also if Walmart messes up an order, you get blamed and give you a one star rating. It's a jacked up system. Also it lets too many sparkers in one area so hardly any orders.

Third review (second revision). For over a month now I haven't even been able to complete my background check. Every time I try to submit my license, I get a technical error. There have been 2 app updates in that's amount of time, and it's still the same message/error. And there is no possible way to get help with anything until you're already a driver. I don't understand how you can be a multi billion dollar company and not only can't get a functioning app, but can't provide assistance.

The app itself is glitchy and seldomly ever works as it should. There is no way to complete a delivery if you deliver somewhere where there's no cellphone service. you have to call spark customer service which takes forever. the pay is abysmal most of the time. It also requires you to re identify every few days. sometimes in the middle of the day which is very annoying.

Very buggy. Has different problems on a weekly basis. Very frustrating. Don't get your hopes up. Doesn't stay working for long. Definitely not worth the time anymore. This has gone down hill soooo fast. Don't recommend at all. They have a facial recognition security feature that doesn't work that well. If it fails, they deactivate your account. It's happened to several drivers. I was told 3-5 days to reactivate the account. It took over two weeks. Called several times. One driver waited 2 months
