4.7 As someone who values privacy, I often find myself scrutinizing the permissions requested by various apps on my smartphone. One day, while downloading a new fitness app, I was taken aback when it requested access to my contacts and location. This is where Permission Guard came into play. I quickly opened the app, and with just a few taps, I was able to deny those permissions, ensuring that my personal information remained secure. Another scenario occurred when I was using a popular messaging app that suddenly wanted to access my camera. Thanks to Permission Guard's real-time alerts, I was immediately notified and could make an informed decision about whether to allow that access.
The user interface of Permission Guard is sleek and straightforward, making it easy to navigate through its various features. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a dashboard that displayed all the apps installed on my device, along with their respective permission statuses. The workflow is seamless; I could tap on any app to see detailed information about its permissions and even access the history of requests. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any noticeable lag, which is crucial for a tool that I rely on for my privacy. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. I feel empowered knowing that I have control over my data and can make informed choices about app permissions.
Permission Guard offers a free version that includes basic features, which is perfect for casual users. However, for those who want to unlock advanced functionalities, such as detailed analytics and enhanced notification settings, there is a premium subscription available. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the peace of mind it provides regarding privacy and security. I found the investment worthwhile, as it allows me to take full control of my digital life.
The developers of Permission Guard are committed to providing regular updates, which is essential in the ever-evolving landscape of app permissions and privacy concerns. I’ve noticed that the app receives updates frequently, often introducing new features and improvements based on user feedback. Additionally, the support team is responsive and helpful. I reached out with a question about a specific feature, and I received a detailed response within a day, which further solidified my trust in the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to mobile applications. Permission Guard is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for app distribution. Upon installation, the app does not require excessive personal data for registration, which is a significant plus in my book. Unlike many free apps that bombard you with ads or track your behavior for marketing purposes, Permission Guard is refreshingly straightforward. It does not display intrusive ads, and I have not noticed any tracking behavior while using the app. This commitment to user privacy makes Permission Guard a trustworthy choice for anyone looking to safeguard their personal information in an increasingly digital world.

The 'GUARD' in this is really just another word for UNinstall. It lists all the apps that have permissions to access it. If you are okay with the permission chosen for the app, you just click the TRUST button and the permission stays the same. Your ONLY other option is to click a trashcan. Doing so then brings you to the uninstall screen to REMOVE THE ENTIRE APP. Just because I don't want to let the app use the phone, I may NEED or want it, but NOT to UNINSTALL the entire app!! ONLY UNINSTALLS!!

I haven't gotten to see really how it works for I just down loaded it but so far what I have seen I like it its easy to understand & perform all I need to get my security working better..
