4.1 Zoom Workplace is a powerful collaboration tool designed to enhance productivity and streamline communication in both remote and in-office settings. Here are some of its standout features:
As a remote worker, I rely heavily on Zoom Workplace for various aspects of my daily routine. One of the most common scenarios is our weekly team check-in. Every Monday morning, we gather virtually to discuss our goals for the week. The video conferencing feature allows us to see each other's faces, which fosters a sense of connection despite the physical distance. Additionally, I often use the app for one-on-one meetings with my manager to discuss project progress and receive feedback. The integrated chat feature comes in handy for sharing quick updates or important links during these discussions.
The user interface of Zoom Workplace is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean layout that makes navigation a breeze. Scheduling a meeting is straightforward, and I appreciate the drag-and-drop functionality for adding participants. During meetings, the video quality is consistently high, and I have experienced minimal lag, even with multiple participants. The ability to share my screen and collaborate on documents in real-time enhances the overall experience. After using the app for several months, I feel confident in its reliability and performance, which has significantly improved my productivity.
Zoom Workplace offers a variety of pricing plans to cater to different needs. The basic plan is free, which is great for individuals or small teams just starting. However, for larger organizations or those requiring advanced features, the paid plans are reasonably priced and offer excellent value for the features included. I opted for the Pro plan, which allows for longer meeting durations and additional administrative controls, making it worth the investment for my team.
Zoom Workplace is regularly updated with new features and improvements, which keeps the app fresh and relevant. I appreciate the prompt customer support available through their help center and live chat options. Whenever I encountered a minor issue, the support team was quick to respond and resolve my concerns, which speaks volumes about their commitment to user satisfaction.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Zoom Workplace takes these concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, but I appreciated that the app offers options to enhance privacy settings, such as enabling two-factor authentication.
Importantly, Zoom Workplace does not bombard users with ads, which is a relief. Instead, they focus on providing a seamless user experience without intrusive tracking behavior. I feel confident that my data is secure, and the company has made significant strides in addressing past security concerns, making it a trustworthy choice for both personal and professional use.

In the last few weeks, the app won't disconnect completely when I leave a meeting. I have to completely restart my phone every time, otherwise when I get into my car, the Bluetooth thinks it's in a call. And I can't join another meeting on zoom because it still thinks it's in the first one. This was never an issue for all the years I've been using this app so this is really frustrating. Samsung Galaxy S24+.

Disappointed. I feel zoom is constantly making moves to make it more and more inconvenient for thoes who cant afford the pro. We used to have optional security things off no matter what, now its default a security room you need to turn off. There's a new feature where you have to wait 10 minutes to make a new zoom after hosting one. There's no point in this but to make it completely inconvenient. I don't like that, not everyone is gonna pay 100+ dollars. This app is getting greedy, once free.

Due to issues, my 5 Star review is now 3 Stars. How can I report them to a human who will take action?⚡Zoom is the one video conferencing app that always works, even when the others fail. Reliability is key, and Zoom nails it! I wish the app wasn't so large, but it's a small price to pay for such a reliable app. It's also great that no installation is needed on desktop & laptop computers. If everyone just used Zoom, we could all uninstall the many video conferencing apps that fill our devices!

Every time I need to go to miniplayer mode on mobile, there's a 30% chance it just crashes and takes a minute to set back up, and no matter what I've tried there doesn't seem to be a consistent way to avoid that. Also any time I join a meeting, the volume could be really quiet or really loud, and no matter what my phone's volume is at, the volume just always stays the same. The experience isn't much better on computer either, and something like Google meet works way better.

May need some work. When leaving the app during a meeting, there is a pop up window to show the meeting. However, there used to be the option to remove the pop up window so as to listen to the meeting, but now doing so sends you back to open the app, or may cause it to crash and disconnect. Also, Bluetooth audio devices in use tend to disconnect and connect briefly, but during disconnecting, the volume jumps up to the loudest setting despite being left at a low setting.
