4.7 Indeed Job Search is a powerful tool for job seekers, offering a variety of features designed to streamline the job-hunting process. Here are some of the core features that make this app stand out:
As someone who is constantly on the lookout for new job opportunities, I found myself using the Indeed Job Search app in various scenarios. One of the most common situations was during my daily commute. Instead of scrolling through social media, I would open the app and browse job listings. The ability to filter jobs by location and type made it easy to find positions that fit my criteria. I also used the app while waiting for appointments or during lunch breaks, maximizing my time and keeping my job search active.
The user interface of the Indeed Job Search app is clean and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a simple search bar where I could enter job titles or keywords. The layout is user-friendly, with job listings displayed in a scrollable format, complete with company logos and brief descriptions. I appreciated the seamless workflow; applying for jobs was straightforward, and I could easily attach my resume and cover letter. Performance-wise, the app was responsive, with minimal loading times. Overall, my experience was positive, and I felt empowered to take control of my job search.
One of the best aspects of the Indeed Job Search app is that it is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees or premium subscriptions required to access its core features. This accessibility makes it an excellent choice for job seekers of all backgrounds, allowing everyone to take advantage of its powerful tools without financial barriers.
Indeed regularly updates the app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I noticed improvements in the job alert system and the resume builder over time, which made my job search even more efficient. Additionally, the support team is responsive; I reached out with a question about my account, and they replied promptly with helpful information. This level of support adds to the overall positive experience of using the app.
When it comes to security and privacy, Indeed Job Search takes several measures to protect its users. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, users are required to provide personal information such as their name, email address, and work history. However, Indeed emphasizes that this data is used solely for job search purposes and is not shared with third parties without consent.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, the app does display job-related advertisements, but these are generally relevant to the user's search history. Indeed also provides options to manage privacy settings, allowing users to control how their information is used. Overall, I felt secure using the app, knowing that my personal data was being handled responsibly.

Good app to find a job, I just wish there was a sort of map function where you could view where job openings are in relation to your location, and if you highlight a certain opening it gives you a brief "snapshot" of the job. Just as it it appears on the list setting, like it does now. This would be extremely helpful for people who walk or ride a bicycle or something like that, ya know? Best regards! 😁

I put in the settings that I can only work a maximum of 35 minutes away at a a part time level, because I still go to school, and yet the app cant catch the hint and rarely gives me options within that parameter, instead most of it is full time jobs that are a minimum of an hour away while paying less than $15 an hour, and theyre either day work only, full time work only, or both. App is great for adults look for a job, but it cant seem to catch a hint if youre a student.

I don't know what happened during the latest"bug fix", but it did nothing but cause frustrating issues. None of the job links that I am sent daily via email, take me to the job. Once clicked, I get sent to the app, only to receive the message "something went wrong". And before you start, clearing all of the caches + everything else, has not resolved this issue. This only started happening over the last few days.

I wish it would save my preferences. I set it to 5 miles distance, it shows a few jobs, but then doesn't save that distance and defaults back to 25 miles away the second I exit out of one job to apply to another. It also shows jobs that I don't have the experience for, and that are not in my field or related to what I searched up. I rarely hear back from jobs, and I'm starting to think most of them are made up to keep the app active.

So I just opened up indeed after being gone for awhile and had to update my information. The option to upload a resume is there but we can no longer edit the resume we upload to indeed. So if my resume is old, which it is, I have to find a way to edit that information, save it, then upload the new resume to indeed. It was much more convenient before.
