4.7 Intuit QuickBooks for Business is a powerhouse accounting tool designed to simplify financial management for small to medium-sized businesses. Here are some of its standout features:
As a small business owner, I wear many hats, and managing finances can often feel overwhelming. I use Intuit QuickBooks for Business daily to streamline my accounting tasks. For example, after completing a project for a client, I quickly create an invoice using the app. The ease of customizing the invoice with my branding and sending it directly to the client saves me a lot of time. Additionally, I regularly check my expense reports to ensure I’m staying within budget, especially during busy months when expenses can pile up.
The user interface of QuickBooks is intuitive and user-friendly, which is a significant plus for someone like me who isn’t an accounting expert. Navigating through the various features feels seamless, and I appreciate how the dashboard provides a clear overview of my financial status at a glance. The workflow for entering expenses or generating reports is straightforward, allowing me to accomplish tasks quickly. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without lag, even when I’m accessing it on my mobile device. Overall, my experience has been positive; I feel empowered to manage my finances effectively without needing to hire a full-time accountant.
Intuit QuickBooks for Business offers several pricing tiers to accommodate different business needs. The plans start at a competitive rate, which includes essential features like invoicing and expense tracking. As my business has grown, I’ve found the value in upgrading to a higher tier that offers advanced reporting and multi-user access. The investment has certainly paid off in terms of time saved and financial clarity.
Intuit is proactive in providing updates to QuickBooks, ensuring that the app remains relevant and functional. I’ve noticed regular enhancements that improve user experience and add new features. Their customer support is also commendable; I’ve reached out a couple of times with questions, and the response time was quick, with knowledgeable representatives who helped resolve my issues efficiently.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to financial applications. Intuit QuickBooks for Business is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide personal data, including my business information and banking details. However, I felt reassured by their robust security measures, including encryption and two-factor authentication.
Importantly, I have not encountered any intrusive ads or excessive tracking behavior while using the app. Intuit seems committed to maintaining user privacy, which is a significant concern for many users today. Overall, I feel confident that my financial data is secure while using QuickBooks, allowing me to focus on growing my business without unnecessary worries.

HORRIBLE!! I downloaded the app because the contracting platform I use said they are able to sync QuickBooks. I paid the monthly fee but was unable to sync my account. it's ok, no biggie. I was told that if I created a QuickBooks checking account that I would have instant and same day access to funds paid through an invoice I sent. so, I decided to use the service for a deposit invoice for a customer. 2 days later, still don't have access to the funds. yet the customer service rep said I should

EDIT TO ADD....they say they can't fix the issues I'm having with their app. $30 a month for services I can't even use/have access to half of. I now unfortunately have to go through the trouble of starting over with saving & transferring 10+ years of info to another service. $30 monthly for just keeping track of customers & expenses is a bit pricey. plus the app keeps freezing. even after uninstall & restarting phone & reinstall the app. very frustrating & makes the app useless.

If you plan on using the app to take payments, you have to do the math, to figure out how much this company takes. If not, you'll get screwed. it would be great if they just automatically added the 3.5% on keyed in transactions, and the 2.75% on in person transactions. And if they haven't thought of that until after reading this then it sure would be nice to get 3.5% of the annual transactions they take from other small businesses. And the app is not easy to create detailed invoices.

Absolutely awful!! Quickbooks Self Employed worked well, but this Sole Trader Plus is terrible. Every invoice is now the same invoice number instead of following on from the last invoice. The mileage tracker keeps disappearing and to mark an invoice as "paid" manually is convoluted. Bank accounts aren't uploading with new transactions, even when being reconfirmed. It's a step backwards! What are you playing at Quickbooks? I've also been charged £12 when the email said it would be an offer at £1.

unreliable. Haven't been able to log in on one of my devices for 24 hours. "Help/support" is hard to reach. App works differently on different devices, vastly differently. Using it on an iPad requires extra clicks/steps for every item on an invoice, using it on a cell phone is faster, but won't allow an item to be made a negative quantity when taking back a credit. We have been asking for a a total piece count total on invoices for months, or longer, hasn't happened.
