4.7 Mailchimp Email Marketing is a powerhouse in the realm of digital marketing, offering a suite of features that cater to both beginners and seasoned marketers. Here are some of the standout features that make Mailchimp a go-to choice for email marketing:
As a small business owner, I wear many hats, and email marketing is a crucial part of my marketing strategy. I use Mailchimp to communicate with my customers, promote new products, and share valuable content. For instance, during the holiday season, I crafted a series of promotional emails to highlight special offers. The ability to segment my audience allowed me to tailor messages specifically for returning customers and new subscribers, maximizing the impact of my campaigns.
The user interface of Mailchimp is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through various features. The drag-and-drop email builder is particularly impressive; I can quickly add images, text blocks, and buttons to create a professional-looking email in minutes. The workflow for setting up a campaign is straightforward, guiding me through each step from design to scheduling. Performance-wise, I’ve found Mailchimp to be reliable, with emails being sent promptly and landing in inboxes without issues. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I appreciate the platform's ability to grow with my business needs.
Mailchimp offers a variety of pricing plans to accommodate different business sizes and needs. The free plan is a great starting point for beginners, allowing up to 500 subscribers and 1,000 monthly emails. As my business has grown, I’ve opted for the Essentials plan, which provides additional features like A/B testing and custom branding. The pricing is competitive, especially considering the robust features included in each tier.
Mailchimp regularly updates its platform, introducing new features and enhancements that keep the user experience fresh and relevant. I’ve noticed improvements in the analytics dashboard, making it easier to interpret data. Customer support is also commendable; I’ve reached out a few times with questions, and the response time has been quick, with helpful representatives guiding me through my queries.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to using digital marketing tools like Mailchimp. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. When registering, I was required to provide basic personal information, including my email address and business details, which is standard practice. Mailchimp has a clear privacy policy that outlines how they handle user data, which I found reassuring.
Importantly, Mailchimp does not engage in intrusive ads or excessive tracking behavior. They focus on providing a secure environment for users while ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA. This commitment to privacy gives me confidence that my data, as well as my customers' data, is handled responsibly.

I really like the app. However lately when I am editing a campaign certain things will prompt a message saying "something went wrong". Once it does this, I am rarely able to edit that portion of the campaign. For instance, when I try to edit the media links at the bottom of the campaign (Facebook, Instagram, etc) it does this and then I am unable to get into edit or even delete the section. I tried to send a message through "help & support"on app but it says something went wrong with that too.

Everything we need, but wish it were easier to take unsubscribes off your paying list so you don't have to keep paying for them, and the manual process is a bear that I had to reach out to customer service to learn how to do properly. They do respond quickly though and try to help as much as they can. They even refunded me the difference after I figured out how to remove the unsubscribers from my list. So many good features though that it makes up for it and the price isn't bad for all of it!

currently cannot sign on to my account via mobile app. Have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Have contacted "customer service" with nothing but a canned response received. Have used this app for years with no issues. Suddenly, the sign on is hit/miss and mostly miss giving a sign in error message when the credentials ARE correct. Trying to find out if theres some kind of setting on my phone that is blocking it, but with no response thats impossible. Need assistance with the app!

My small business is still on the free plan and has brought in thousands of dollars with a monthly email newsletter. I use a desktop computer to craft emails with templates, then use the app to send the draft at a specific day & time (usually Thursday midday). It integrates with Shopify so I can easily pull in product photos. My other favorite feature is the link checker to test URLs before sending. Once we get big enough to pay, MailChimp definitely has earned my loyalty!

Used to work. Not anymore. Can't edit the text box in templates, old or new email campaigns. Rolled back to previous version. ALL versions affected, apparently. Old, new, doesn't matter. This tells me it's a broken dependency somewhere. My Android system is factory reset, fresh, and up-to-date on the same Galaxy S7 that worked just fine before. I don't know what's broken, what changed, what to fix or how to fix it, what to do to work around. Sent an email to support. No reply yet.
