4.5 As someone who is always on the lookout for new career opportunities, I found myself using the Reed.co.uk Job Search app almost daily. One of my favorite scenarios was during my commute. Instead of scrolling through social media, I would open the app and browse through job listings. The ability to filter jobs by distance from my current location made it easy to find roles that were convenient for me. Additionally, I often used the app during my lunch breaks to apply for jobs on the go, which made the process feel less daunting and more manageable.
The user interface of the Reed.co.uk app is sleek and modern, making it visually appealing and easy to navigate. I appreciated how the home screen displayed the latest job listings and how I could quickly access my saved jobs and alerts. The workflow for applying to jobs was seamless; I could upload my CV directly from my device and fill out application forms without any glitches. Performance-wise, the app was responsive, and I never experienced any crashes or slow loading times. Overall, my experience with the app was positive, and I felt empowered to take control of my job search.
One of the best aspects of the Reed.co.uk Job Search app is that it is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees or premium subscriptions required to access job listings or features. This accessibility makes it an excellent resource for job seekers at any stage of their career, allowing everyone to benefit from its extensive offerings without financial barriers.
Reed.co.uk frequently updates its app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I noticed improvements in the job alert system and the addition of new career resources in recent updates. The support team is also responsive; I reached out with a question about my account, and they replied promptly with helpful information. This level of support gives me confidence in using the app long-term.
As an American user, I take security and privacy seriously, especially when using job search apps. Reed.co.uk is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, but I appreciated that the app does not ask for excessive personal data. I also noticed that the app is free from intrusive ads, which is a significant plus for me. Additionally, Reed.co.uk has a clear privacy policy that outlines how my data is used and protected, giving me peace of mind while I search for my next career opportunity.

Really annoying how it easily unsaves the jobs you've saved when scrolling through your saved jobs. Also won't let me save a job alert as keeps saying something went wrong.

App does shows 0 results when you click on the "remote" filter, but works fine in browser. This has been happening for more than a year.

sells details to scammers, despite my settings being set to not share, i receive calls and emails about false jobs who want finance information as part of application. email address was made and exclussively used on reed so 100% tgeybshared without consent ilegally

Full of false job ads. Reed used to be great but these days there are so many recruiters posting intentionally incorrect job listings and Reed are doing nothing about it. You'll have jobs advertised as hybrid that demand full office attendance in the description, decent advertised salary bands with a much lower salary stated in the description, etc etc. It makes the filters completely pointless. I'd guess over half the jobs I look into are misrepresented. Use another job board instead.

Unfortunately the app is terrible, if you search for anything for example, like retail, or regional management in the same sector, Your results come back as registered nurses, builders, electrician, the list goes on, it's anything but what you require, if you try to be more specific, it gets worse. Shame really as Reed used to be on the mark for jobs.
