Real Experience Using "Salesforce"

Application Scenarios

As a sales professional, I rely heavily on Salesforce to manage my daily tasks and client interactions. Each morning, I log into the app to review my pipeline, check for any new leads, and prioritize my follow-ups. During client meetings, I use the mobile app to access customer histories and notes, which allows me to tailor my pitch effectively. Additionally, I often collaborate with my marketing team through Salesforce, sharing insights and data that help us align our strategies and improve our outreach efforts.

User Experience

The user interface of Salesforce is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through various features. The dashboard is customizable, allowing me to arrange widgets according to my preferences, which enhances my workflow. I appreciate the seamless integration of features; for instance, when I log a call, I can immediately set a follow-up task without switching screens. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly, with minimal lag, even when I’m accessing it on my mobile device. Overall, my experience with Salesforce has been positive, as it has significantly improved my productivity and organization.

Pricing

Salesforce offers a variety of pricing plans to cater to different business needs, starting from basic packages for small businesses to more comprehensive solutions for larger enterprises. While the cost can be a consideration, the value it provides in terms of increased sales efficiency and customer management often justifies the investment. I found that the flexibility in pricing allows businesses to scale their usage as they grow, which is a significant advantage.

Updates & Support

Salesforce is known for its regular updates, which often introduce new features and enhancements based on user feedback. I’ve noticed improvements in the user interface and additional functionalities that have made my experience even better. The support team is responsive and helpful; I’ve reached out a couple of times with questions, and they provided quick and effective solutions. The extensive online resources, including tutorials and community forums, also make it easy to find answers to common queries.

Security & Privacy Review

As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that handles sensitive customer data like Salesforce. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the security standards set by these platforms. During registration, I was required to provide basic personal information, which is standard for CRM applications. Salesforce takes data protection seriously, employing robust encryption methods and compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA.

Importantly, I have not encountered any intrusive ads or excessive tracking behavior while using Salesforce. The platform focuses on providing a seamless user experience without compromising user privacy. Overall, I feel confident in the security measures Salesforce has in place, allowing me to focus on my work without worrying about data breaches or privacy issues.

Utter garbage. The app is basically unusable. When I try to open a link to a case, it takes me to chatter feed. When I get it to eventually navigate to the correct screen (or I assume it is trying to load the correct screen, there's no way to tell) it just sits there loading indefinitely. Refreshing, reopening the link, and trying again doesn't help. This is exactly why I uninstalled the app years ago. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like much has changed.

This app is terrible! It's completely useless for people in support looking up cases. As a sales engineer, it's impossible to look up products a customer owns. I can't even see an account and list simple things like contacts, support cases, opportunities. You have to know a case number to see a case. You have to know the opportunity name to see an opportunity. And reporting is a complete disaster. Graphs and tables are not setup properly for mobile devices.

Salesforce mobile is just worthless. Salesfores is too expensive to have such an embarrassing offering. It constantly has problems and it's a different problem every time. Today, i can't load any Account record to view, just spins. I generally only use it when I absolutely have no other option at the time, and it's just terrible. Feels like every time I need it, I need to uninstall it and start over.

I really hate that Salesforce won't allow us to use the web browser on mobile. The app is trash. You can only look at one work order, case, etc. at a time, but the worse part is when I'm sent a link and it automatically opens to a loading screen and then nothing. It won't load. I just want to delete it and use the web browser but it keeps forcing me to use the app even when uninstalled.

This app is awful. The only thing consistent about it is a consistent lack of reliability. Pages take forever to refresh, if they ever do refresh at all. The majority of the time my dashboards don't load fully, and pages I navigate to don't load or generate anything at all (whether I'm at home with wifi, or out using data). I literally can NEVER count on this app to find information or accomplish tasks. The only reliable way to access Salesforce is through the browser on my laptop, big let down.
