4.5 SAP Concur is a powerful tool designed to streamline travel and expense management for businesses of all sizes. Its robust features cater to the needs of both employees and finance teams, making it a go-to solution for organizations looking to enhance efficiency and control over spending.
As a project manager, I frequently travel for client meetings and conferences. SAP Concur has become an essential part of my travel routine. Before a trip, I use the app to book flights and accommodations, ensuring that I stay within budget and adhere to company policies. During my travels, I rely on the app to manage my expenses, from meals to transportation. After returning, I can easily compile my expenses into a report, which I submit for reimbursement. This seamless integration of travel and expense management has significantly reduced the time I spend on administrative tasks.
The user interface of SAP Concur is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon logging in, I am greeted with a clean dashboard that provides an overview of my upcoming trips and pending expense reports. The workflow for submitting expenses is straightforward; I can categorize expenses, attach receipts, and add notes with just a few taps. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly, with minimal lag, even when uploading multiple receipts at once. Overall, my experience with SAP Concur has been positive, as it has made managing travel and expenses less of a chore and more of a streamlined process.
SAP Concur offers various pricing plans tailored to different business needs. While the exact pricing can vary based on the size of the organization and the features selected, it generally operates on a subscription model. For small businesses, the cost may be more manageable, while larger enterprises might find the investment worthwhile given the potential for cost savings and increased efficiency in expense management.
The support provided by SAP Concur is commendable. They offer a range of resources, including tutorials, FAQs, and customer support channels. I’ve had to reach out for assistance a couple of times, and the response was prompt and helpful. Additionally, the app receives regular updates that enhance functionality and address any bugs, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and improvements.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that handles sensitive financial information like SAP Concur. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide personal data, including my name, email, and company details, which is standard for such applications.
One concern I had was regarding ads and tracking behavior. Fortunately, SAP Concur does not bombard users with ads, and it appears to prioritize user privacy. The app has robust security measures in place, including encryption and secure login protocols, which help protect my data from unauthorized access. Overall, I feel confident using SAP Concur, knowing that my information is handled with care and that the app is designed with user security in mind.

The auto-edge detect is terrible for scanning receipts. Needs manual cropping. Take a look at the Tiny scanner app, and see how it should done. Seriously, Sap should be able to do better than this. Scanning receipts is the only reason I use the app. Edit: It's better now and I increased by one star, you need to add copy and paste into the app. I suggest that if we have multiple per diem, allow to select a range of dates, an making multiple days easier. If you do that I'll give 5 stars.

Incredibly frustrating. So many clicks. Upload a receipt and then it's unclassified. Pick a category and you'll get a pop-up that your changes will be lost. The admin design must lack guardrails because you end up with illogical requirements like having to select that a receipt is attached right after you attached a receipt. Most reports cannot be completed on the mobile app at all. Receipt scanning is inconsistent, and good luck with currency exchange inaccuracies.

this is the shittiest app ever!! it cannot read text from a printed receipt and accurately load information in. I submit expense reports it they have no errors. they show up to the approver they have errors. what the f***. The app takes forever to load and make adjustments to expenses and if the phone times out and goes to black screen it's an error. there's nothing to stare at and nothing to work on. the app is slow as hell. I have asked my employer for a different way to submit expenses.

App never remembers my sign in or honors my setting to sign in with biometrics. In fact, when I sign in, it changes my biometric setting automatically back to OFF. It makes me go through the entire 2-step Authentication process every time I open it. This is an easy fix, please fix it. It's so annoying to do this every single day.

Still only one star and the developers have not improved anything this app 3 years later. So SLOW! It never picks up the right information for my receipts. it just took me 5 minutes to upload one receipt. I have no idea why/how German software is such trash when they ACQUIRE working technology on the open market. This app gets slower and more complicated with every update, just like the owner's native software, SAP. That's it! They changed the backbone to SAP, and now it sucks. Done and done.
