4.4 As a frequent business traveler, I often find myself hopping from one city to another for meetings and conferences. The Trainline Business EU app has become my go-to tool for managing these trips. Just last week, I had a series of meetings lined up in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Instead of juggling multiple apps and websites, I opened Trainline Business EU, entered my departure and arrival cities, and within minutes, I had my tickets booked. The app even suggested the best times to travel based on my schedule, which was incredibly helpful.
The user interface of Trainline Business EU is clean and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a straightforward layout that allowed me to search for trains quickly. The workflow is smooth; I could easily filter results by time, price, or duration, which is essential when I’m in a hurry. Performance-wise, the app is responsive, with minimal loading times. I particularly appreciate the visual elements, such as the map feature that shows my route and stops along the way. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel confident using the app for all my travel needs.
Trainline Business EU operates on a competitive pricing model, offering various ticket options that cater to different budgets. While some tickets can be quite affordable, especially if booked in advance, I found that the app also provides options for flexible tickets, which are invaluable for business travelers like me who may need to change plans at the last minute. The pricing transparency is commendable, as I could easily see the breakdown of costs before finalizing my purchase.
The app is regularly updated, which is evident from the new features and improvements I’ve noticed over time. Customer support is also commendable; I had a query regarding a ticket change, and the support team responded promptly via the in-app chat feature. They were knowledgeable and resolved my issue quickly, which left me feeling valued as a customer. Overall, the combination of regular updates and responsive support enhances my trust in the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that handles personal and financial information. Trainline Business EU is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, but I appreciated that the app allows for secure payment options, including credit cards and PayPal.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that the app does not bombard users with intrusive advertisements, which is a significant plus. Instead, it focuses on providing a streamlined experience. However, like many apps, it does collect data to improve services, but I felt reassured by their clear privacy policy outlining how my data would be used. Overall, I feel secure using Trainline Business EU, knowing that my information is handled with care.

Absolutely ridiculous that you don't have a phone and only a email!!! Was booking a trip for 5 people 1st class and our credit card did go through the first time, so that after a call to the bank in the USA to clear matter, the app did not accept the card again!!! Needless to say Trainline lost on a massive deal! I'd suggest someone goes back to the drawing board!!

Quite nice, works well! The mobile app does not let me choose the currency, though (why do I have to pay in pounds when travelling through the Eurozone?). Also, they do not offer all of Thalys tickets (the Belgian all station option is not available, thus your tickets are pricey).

Works well and is easy to use. But now they are constantly trying to push us to switch to a new version of the app. DO NOT SWITCH. The new version removes the possibility to place options that you can pay later when you are sure of your travel plans. Any options that you have placed disappear when you switch.

Better than trainline (non EU) app! When buying tickets through trainline EU you get to pay the actual train fare, the same ticket on the trainline app (non EU) is more expensive. It will ask to switch to the trainline (non EU) without mentioning the price difference, a bit deceiving.

Worked well on our recent 10 day trip to France and Switzerland. Was able to book tickets at short notice. American Credit cards worked seamlessly when it were being rejected by some of the other apps.
