4.4 Webex is a powerful collaboration tool that has become a staple for remote work and virtual meetings. Its robust features cater to a variety of professional needs, making it a go-to choice for teams around the globe. Here are some of the standout features that I found particularly useful:
As someone who works in a fast-paced environment, I rely heavily on Webex for various application scenarios. For instance, I often conduct weekly team meetings to discuss project progress and address any roadblocks. The high-quality video conferencing feature allows me to connect with team members across different locations, making it feel as if we are all in the same room. Additionally, I use Webex for client presentations, where the screen sharing feature comes in handy to showcase our work effectively. On days when I need to collaborate with colleagues on a project, the integrated messaging feature allows for quick exchanges of ideas without the need for a formal meeting.
The user interface of Webex is intuitive and user-friendly, which makes navigating through its features a breeze. Upon logging in, I am greeted with a clean dashboard that displays upcoming meetings and recent messages. The workflow for scheduling meetings is straightforward; I can easily set up a meeting with just a few clicks. Performance-wise, I have experienced minimal lag during video calls, even with multiple participants. Overall, my experience with Webex has been positive, as it has significantly improved my productivity and communication with my team.
Webex offers a variety of pricing plans to cater to different needs, from free basic accounts to premium subscriptions for larger organizations. The free version is quite generous, allowing for meetings of up to 100 participants, which is perfect for small teams or casual meetings. For more advanced features, such as cloud recording and larger participant limits, the paid plans are reasonably priced and provide excellent value for the features offered.
Webex is consistently updated with new features and improvements, which shows the company's commitment to enhancing user experience. I appreciate the regular notifications about updates, as they often introduce useful functionalities. In terms of support, Webex provides a comprehensive help center with tutorials and FAQs. I have reached out to their customer support a couple of times, and I was pleased with the prompt and helpful responses I received.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any online platform, and Webex does not disappoint in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. When registering for an account, I was required to provide basic personal information, which is standard practice. However, I appreciate that Webex has clear privacy policies outlining how my data is used and protected.
Importantly, Webex does not bombard users with ads, which is a relief. Instead, the focus remains on providing a seamless user experience. Additionally, the app employs end-to-end encryption for meetings, ensuring that my conversations remain private and secure. Overall, I feel confident using Webex, knowing that my data is handled with care and that my privacy is respected.

It's been a long time since I've hated such a clunky app as Webex. It "helpfully" sets so that it runs every time you boot up your computer, and the hoops you have to jump through to access your settings to turn that off just makes me hate it all the more. Since I only use it the rare times I'm forced to, I'll stick with the web browser. Uninstalling.

I have yet to experience a system and app as flawed as WebEx. I have actually lost clients thanks to it. Calls drop all the time. Apparently the Internet provider I use (which services millions of people) doesn't meet their "network requirements", so calls drop. Ridiculous. Or when you go to answer a call, it takes so long for the app to open and respond that you end up missing the call. In the rare instance you can answer the call, it doesn't work with your Bluetooth device 50% of the time.

I've been using Webex for years on my PC for appointments, which worked fairly well. My OS has been phased out for this software however, and now I'm forced to use this app. The app appears to at least allow for video, but audio is so low, I have to dial in on my phone to speak over voice & it's not always understandable over the app. I'm giving the app 2 stars rather than 1 because it's at least semi-functional, but definitely less quality than when I was able to run it on my PC.

I cannot say enough negative things about this worthless app. I got a brand new phone, hoping that it would help with the issues. Instead it's even worse. Rings only about 2/3rds of the time. Takes several seconds to connect, by which time the caller is saying "Hello? Hello?" Frequently mutes me while I can still hear the caller. There is absolutely no issue with my Wi-Fi or data. The app is simply hot garbage.

I do not like this app. I am unable to text people, and when I have another call coming thru when I'm on the phone, the beeping continues through the whole phone call even when the call is no longer coming thru. After I hang up, the beeping is still continuing on my phone, and closing the app is no longer a solution. I've had to restart my phone 3 times in less than 2 hours. It's frustrating because my Bluetooth also will not work properly. And I can not use the callback feature.
